I got my role at Dawn of Day 3, so during Night 2.
Scuba Ben described my the results of my power accurately, however, and I did target him on Night 1.
I did not target NAF, who claims to have been hit by my power.
Is it possible that someone is delivering false role PMs? Or perhaps Scum have a messenger who is able to format posts so that they look like role PMs? My PM was very clear that it was a message being delivered to me. I jsut assumed it was actually my role PM, especially when Scuba Ben confirmed the action on him.
@Scuba Ben, when did you first reveal that you had to give 2 targets?
he claims to have killed Mahaloth who was Wolf. he also claims to have targeted brewha. No one has countered him.
However, there is a possibilty he did not intentionally target Mahaloth on Night 1 or that he took a ris and intentionally targeted a teammate.
I think it is safe to say though, that it is unlikely that he was redirected twice. So it is highly unlikely that if brewha is Scum that Pizza is also Scum.
Wanting to lynch brewha at outset of Day despite the poisoning and without even the argument that’s since been presented about the Apothecary. I don’t get it.
That’s just my point. It is exactly what I’m saying, but it baffles me that you could possibly see it as some sort of scummy contradiction if you were paying any attention at all to the context. Tell me where you’re coming from, lilflower; I have a shitty record with OMGUS lately.
I’ll try one more time:
brewha is poisoned. I’s likely (unless speculation about the apothecary turns out accurate) that he will be dead soon regardless if he’s lynched or not. Therefore, I didn’t want to lynch him, I’d rather discuss other things and let the poisoning take care of itself. That’s not a contradiction with finding him scummy enough to die.
Given the apothecary speculation, I don’t know how I’d actually vote if if somehow came down to brewha or sangaman today, though I don’t expect it to.
Oh, that. Well I’m not going to try to defend an “I think”. I don’t think it needs defending.
Obviously, but yes even if it wasn’t me. At that point I was the only vote on brewha (I think I did vote for him that same post? Can’t remember) which made my vote more useful than the one on Giraffe only in the sense that the brewha post was more recent and stood a better chance of gathering more votes than a wagon on Giraffe that had already come and gone by the time I got there. I’m not a big fan of “well I think X is scummy so I’m going to stick to them like a limpet and ignore every other potential scum in the game even if the others have a chance of being lynched and my candidate does not”. As you might have gathered from my case on Zeriel.
You’re way too focused on “what townies should act like” niceties here, lilfower.
That’s not remotely how I viewed what I was doing.
The Giraffe vote I can give you, because I never got the chance to follow up before doing so seemed like a waste of my time, and now he is looking rather townie due to Blaster’s targeting him, so unless he’s still alive ten days from now or something it’s unlikely that I ever will. But brewha? How can you possibly see this how you are characterizing it?
This is true, I usually am. That doesn’t mean it’s impossible for me to recognize other people’s good cases, and that doesn’t mean I don’t vote for them when they have better chance of lynching someone acceptably scummy than my own case does. That part is NOT correct. I do it all the time.
This is simply not the case. And I didn’t even do it, at that, when it came right down to it. (Well I did vote Blaster on a bandwagon later, but my first vote was my own.)
Yeah, skimming’s not a scum tell. Somethign else we disagree on.
Nobody needs to defend me; I’m quite capable of defending myself.
I’m not a fan of this reasoning from Drain Bead either, but it’s not the same thing as what pinged me with brewha. Brewha specifically entertained the theory that Jan herself was an insane cop and argued (which is not exactly the right word, but I’m getting too hungry for vocabulary) that the information gain would be acceptable even if that was true.
Not me.
On another note, I’m still waiting for you and/or Normal to come up with something, really, anything that indicates why you’ve indicated that I seem Scummy.
Do we know for a fact that the rule is “one target per action”? I know someone pointed to the rules thread where it says “every player must submit a target for that night action”, but have we confirmed that means “one and only one, with no exceptions”? Or is that just an assumption?
Tell ya what. If I’m alive tomorrow, I’ll make that list up for you. Right now, I’m browsing and posting from my phone and composing a post like that is difficult. You take into account that we went out for Mexican tonight and I had a couple of jumbo margaritas - it’s nigh impossible!
Whelp, may as well put my vote where it’ll do some good. Since day one, I’ve thought that one of the most prolific posters is likely scum leading the town around by the nose. I just couldn’t decide if it was peeker or pizza that had that role. We now know that peeker isnt scum, so I’m am very convinced that pizza is. Sadly, it seems that the town is content to be lead around like sheep and listen to the most prolific poster merely because they are the most prolific poster.
Seriously, if this poison does me in - kill Pizza. In my death you’ll see that I’m town and hopefully you’ll be able to then see through Pizza’s deceptions.
I really hate to do this, but:
unvote AskThePizzaGuy
I have seen nothing to indicate that Sangaman’s wolf number claim was anything but PIS. So,
Did the message you got that appeared to be a role PM include your name? My name was in my “message”
Have we considered that maybe an apothecary role might not leave a “healthy” “warm glow” or any other type of message on a person who isn’t poisoned?
