NAF, I’m curious as to why you are using powers on yourself when you don’t know what they are. That seems risky. I can see maybe trying this once to figure out what your role might be. But if you are really a mimic and you have two new powers to use toNight, why would you use either on yourself? You only get one Night of using those powers, right? So it doesn’t matter if you figure out what they are since it won’t help you toMorrow Night since you will have some other power.
I’ve been reading along. I’ve also been sick the last several days, this leaves me in a position where I still post on the dope but don’t play mafia because that requires me to actually think.
That said, vote Idle Thoughts, just for completeness’ sake. There’s no way any voting information is useful on a Day like toDay.

Idle, assuming you’ve accurately betrayed the entire Scum team, why would us Town get anywhere near the brink of losing? Is there something else you’d like to share?
How do you know your action betrayed **Episkey **to PizzaGuy? Your action could also have betrayed NAF1138. Is there something you’d like to share about that?
PizzaGuy got two messages on Night 2, that Episkey and NAF were Wolves.
I support a mass target claim Tomorrow.
I propose a method: A soft-cleared Townie uses their favorite randomizer site to post a randomized list of Living players. We claim targets in that order. (I once found a site that would generate a verifiable list of random numbers, but I didn’t bookmark it and haven’t found it since.)
However, ed is claimed Third Party (of unknown win condition) by a claimed Scum Traitor. Without reasonably knowing ed’s side, I wouldn’t use him.
I suggest anybody who’s reasonably sure they give investigations/peeks on their action targets, that they consider investigating Idle’s betrayal list as well as ed. It would royally suck for Town if ed’s power-charging ability has drawbacks of the explosive variety.

One, I think I doesn’t say anything about Episkey (both of us really should die. At this point it’s bad policy for either of us to live until end game after all that has happened now. I am happy to go first. Like I said, school starts Thursday, I don’t expect to have a ton of time). I do think it betrays PIS that Idle knew I was town. That’s why I thought it was a good catch. I think it’s a little less of a holy crap good catch if you thought it fingered Episkey though.
Now I’m confused. I thought I had your role kind of figured out but maybe I don’t. According to **Idle **(and yes, I realize we have to take what he’s saying with a truckload of salt) but which you have not denied, you are a mimic and your role description is "That each night beginning Night Zero, he selects a target. He then will emulate his target’s night action the following night. " Doesn’t that mean you get two actions toNight because you got two targets last Night?
Again, though, I’m not sure why you would even suggest targeting yourself if you don’t know what role either of us has. And why did you target yourself with Ed’s power when you didn’t know what it was?

Ok. Let’s start over starting here.
I believe that Idle’s original claim was 100% truthful except for his botched win condition. I did not know what my power did until the point where he claimed. Up until that point I thought I was a flavor of Cop or Doc based on things I had seen go on in the thread. \
Night 0 I targeted Peeker, it was the only power that worked that Night. I was told that it had no noticeable effect. At the end of Day 1 I still didn’t know what I did so I targeted Ed who was high on my suspicion list but who I didn’t have a case for. Again nothing noticeable happened. So Night 2 I directed my power to myself thinking that maybe it would give me more info about the power and how to use it. I was told that I gained a double target the following Night. I asked Gad if that was the result of my power or an outside power and he said he couldn’t tell me.
Ed claimed and I thought he targeted me so I vocally supported his claimed power as real. He said he didn’t target me so I assumed he was redirected. By this point I had decided that my power was non hurtful so I targeted two of the players I figured were likely town (you and NP). ToDay Idle claimed to know what my power did, and it made the whole thing with Ed make total sense. It explained why Ed wasn’t told he was redirected. It explained why I got the double anyway. It didn’t explain what happens toNight to my power and Gad hasn’t told me.
BEFORE Idle claimed I had planned on using the power on myself again just to see what happened. That was when I still didn’t know what I did. All I knew was that I didn’t seem to do anything harmful, and I figured repeating the power on me might give me some useful information about figuring out what was going on. So in the quote where you underlined me saying “originally I was going to use my power on myself” that is what I meant. If you notice right before that I say that I haven’t decided what I was going to do with the power. That indecision is now that I know what my power does. So to translate my own quote Ed asks “whattcha gonna do with that power toNight” I answer “Well now that I know that it does, I am not really sure what to do with it. Before I knew what it was I was going to target myself but now I don’t know.”
Clear?

I don’t know what can be read into Idles claim he targeted Episki, he seams to be on a misinformation run, so distinguishing intentional slip from unintentional slip is tough.

NAF, I consider your claim as internally consistent. I accept you as a claimed Mimic. I still consider you and **Episkey **as top suspects due to the history of the whispered messages, and hope to make time for some detailed analysis on both of you.
Also, I’m willing to lynch you Tomorrow; if you flip Town, for me that would convict Episkey and I would be glad to lynch em the following Day. (If you flip Scum, that does not clear Episkey. Would you like a glass of wine? It has a good aftertaste of iocane powder.)
