Unless this was caused by Septimus himself I don’t see how this can be the case. No one should be able to send orders to redirect player X to player Y.
At some point we’ll need to revisit the poisoning of drain bead that happened after the death of pizzaguy. A delaying power? Scum mimic? Something?

Did NAF ever claim to mimic PizzaGuy? Also, we know of one delaying power, the long-Dead Krayz. A second one is possible. Anything is possible at present.

So seeing as my target actively doesn’t seem to want to admit it (or doesn’t realize it), I targeted Normal Phase last Night. No real reason other than that she’s been flying more under the radar than she normally does, so I thought I might find a quiet Scum.

I agree that I am most likely a Warm Glowinator of some sort, but I’m not sure what makes you conclude that I’m a Courtesan. Have I missed something (entirely possible–I’ve certainly missed some things), or is your conclusion simple conjecture?
Heh, Perrier. Peeker and Drain Bead both require only one target be sent, but I suppose the other is a possibility.
Drain, I got the same non-result as always, I don’t have any real problem offering that. But I’d like Septimus to say what he was thinking.
I advocated reveal of targets. I’m still happy to show my targets, as part of a general reveal, or even one-on-one quid pro quo.
On my private list I already had bufftabby as likely Scum(*). That Courtesan is usually a Scum role made this seem even more likely, hence the reveal.
But I don’t know the Courtesan is Scum. With all the peeks (and insane peeks, fake peeks, etc.), this reveal seemed “small potatoes” anyway, and might be pro-Town even if bufftabby is Town.
(* - along with another seven players or so. The hunches are much too vague to report, but include Giraffe, Scathach, and you yourself, Ms. Phase.)
We also have Lightfoot I’s claim that he was redirected from crackedquads onto peeker. Now this could be the result of peeker himself, I think. If peeker targets crackedquads, doesn’t peeker then become the target of anything directed at crackedquads?
JD also claims to have been redirected on Night 2.
Where are you getting the term “courtesan”? And why would this role be a scum role?
The wording of my post makes clear I deduced you were a “Warm Glowinator.” The leap from there to Courtesan was suggested by some other player a few thousand posts ago.
That doesn’t much explain anything given you also said you’d never gotten any night results. Just yesterday you were speculating you might be Lightfoot’s missing mason partner.

I disagree with you about Giraffe. I have in my notes that a known Scum (probably BlaM or sanga) had claimed on D2 or D3 to have targeted Giraffe on N1. I soft-cleared Giraffe based on that.
I think I made the suggestion, probably using the role name Whore. This seems to me a role likely to be Scum – but in this game we can’t count on normal alignment - role matches.
I looked at my list and cross-referenced with post counts.
J.D. has 24 posts since e took over for Sis Coyote. Today eir sole post was a vote on CQ with the reason “Seems obvious.” The laggers for unsubbed players are septimus (48) and bufftabby (56). Both of these counts seem to me to not be lurking.
At the other end, NAF is the most talkative Living player, and the rest of the top four are all Dead.
J.D., please step up your participation. If I can’t find a good target, this late in the game I’d strongly consider Lynch the Lurker.
Scum Courtesan is usually a roleblocker, not a “warm glow” whatever, just saying. This is not remotely to defend bufftabby, on whom I have virtually no read. But I don’t think courtesan=scum and courtesan=warm glow are concepts that demand an overlap, and eh. I’m just not liking Septimus’ last few posts.
Also please don’t dismiss Giraffe entirely from suspicion based on the likelihood that he was targeted by Blastermaster on night one.
