Hi!
Nice that you’re not convinced with my case. Do you think you can tell me what about it you don’t like. And I’ll reciprocate with why I’m not convinced by your brewha case as it seems to hinge largely on his fluffiness when the pace of the game thus far has been beyond what I think many people expressed. I’ve got essentially zero read on him thus far where as I have some pretty clear patterns of behavior for Ben.

vote donkie.
welcome.
I’m spending a lot of time re-reading the posts by Lynch candidates and am not really “feeling” any of the cases. Vote flipflops? I think that’s a Town-tell. A defended B who accused C of smudging D? There’s so many opportunities for innocent logic errors (or even Wifom double-crosses) in a chain like that, I think they can be ignored until we have more info.
But one thing is clear to me. peekercpa in monopolizing and misdirecting the discussion is playing anti-Town. Perhaps he’s just “being peeker.” But if he were Scum, this misdirection and voice-drowning might be his best tactic.
Vote: peekercpa

p.s. is that ok gad? i don’t think i used one of my forbidden words, right?
That looks correct, LightFoot; thanks for putting it together.
For the last few pages, his ridiculous posting has been feeling very purposeful. Perhaps he learned his role last Night and is some kind of PFK/jester/cat turd covered in cracker crumbs type role. It’s also possible his “shoes” are of the variety that he has to respond to everything and/or have X times as many posts as anyone else in the game or something.
Although I would like him to stop, I’m not sure he’s actually scum.
NETA: I don’t think his posting style is evidence that he’s scum.
And not to forget our departed

The vote leaders from yesterday. Let’s look at the timing for these wagons.
At around post 400, peeker was way in the lead with 4 votes and seemed to be gaining speed, TimeLady and Giraffe had a couple. Fast forward ahead to about post 600 and what do we have? Krayz has suddenly picked up 3 or 4 votes (4 until Ben unvoted), peeker is now down to 3, I have picked up 3, and SilverJan has a couple. I speculate that a scummy peeker was in trouble and that scum took a scattergun approach to an opposing bandwagon, and that Krayz, SilverJan, and I were in front of the scattergun. I suspect we will find 1 or 2 scum on all of us, who might have changed had peeker continued getting heat. At the end, Krayz was simply the easiest vote. Several people had stated that they couldn’t see any case on me and voting for me might entail explaining the case.
Let’s look at who the scum on these scatterwagons might be. First we know that Mahaloth was on Krayz. Ben moved from peeker to Krayz. I think it unlikely that Ben was bussing peeker and I am assuming for this scenario that peeker is scum. Meeko/sangaman was an early vote. Meeko was struggling to get caught up in the thread, and yet voted for Krayz.
On me, we have InnerStick and lilflower. I looked at the voters on me here: 1412 and looked further at Inner here 1475.
<snipped to the bikini>
ok, jan won’t answer so i will ask you. what is town’s goal?
Frankly, I don’t like this. Let us not forget past games where someone played in a very loud high noise way and required mod interaction (remember me subbing for zuma in AA and he was mod-confirmed not to be Batman). IMO, it’s a complete non-tell IMO. And, of course, I’m generally against meta-gaming. That said, I would like to see him chill out a bit, because it’s that much harder to keep up on the game when he’s posting so much and not really saying a whole lot.
MODERATOR NOTE
Without saying anything else about roles, I can say that most of the roles you describe – jester, cat turd covered in cracker crumbs, win conditions based on annoying the hell out of everyone through posting – would not be included in this game to the extent that they are not roles that “pertain directly to night actions,” as the OP describes.
well fuck. the cat turd covered in cracker crumbs claim just went out the proveribal window.
Hmm, I think you’re mischaracterising the case against Scuba_Ben here
Vote flipflops? I think that’s a Town-tell.
It wasn’t just flip flopping. It was saying that he found a player townie, then voting for him 30 posts later for the same reason he had previously voted for him.
- A defended B who accused C of smudging D?*
I don’t know how you managed to get all the way up to D here. Peeker voted for Giraffe for an inconsistency. Scuba_ben voted peeker, saying he didn’t find what Giraffe said inconsistent. (Even though it certainly seemed pretty inconsistent to me)
*There’s so many opportunities for innocent logic errors (or even Wifom double-crosses) in a chain like that, I think they can be ignored until we have more info.

Wasn’t actualy much of a chain.
The whole post is based on being dismissive of the case against Scuba_ben.
Ugh, hit reply way too soon. I apologise for the crappy spelling and formatting.
I was over-simplifying because it really wasn’t directly relevant to my point. I gave reasons why scum might do it and, in fact, have done it in games I’ve been in in the past. The point was that I don’t think your argument was logically complete.
That is possible and if that’s the case that you considered them but chose not to raise them, it means I may need to reconsider my read.
No, bad logic is a null tell, but the reasoning and motivation behind the logic often means something else. One thing I’ve found in the past is that scum are often more likely to include all the scenarios involving their pro-town and anti-town motivation precisely because they’re intrinsically aware of their anti-town motivation already. OTOH, a townie will sometimes present logic with a sort of assumption that the scum motivation doesn’t really make sense or incompletely covered.
That said, I have seen scum do it; in fact, I’ve done it myself, but I also know that it’s decidely more difficult to pull off convincingly. So my point was that your logic was bad, but that it struck me as being bad in a way that is more likely to be consistent with a townie rather than scum.
I was mostly floating it out there with the hope that others would weigh in on what they think about you, particularly since I saw peeker suspicious of you and I was catching up and wasn’t sure what traction it may or may not have gotten.
zomg donk is here!
