It’s a case of “use your best judgement, based on what happened to you.” I think.
The only basic role that’s going to reveal to the target that they were targeted and leave them alive the next day is a roleblocker. Docs, cops, and watchers won’t reveal you were targeted, generally. And roleblocker is potentially either a scum or a town thing.
In some cases this will benefit us. No one can know how many players targeted their target too so if the information ‘feels’ valuable I could make a case for that information to be shared.
certain info does not have the same value for wolves and villagers.
and everyone posting their night actions is probably the quickest way for the village to lose the game.
Not to be a jerk or anything, but the meta on this board from what I hear described is super explotable, such as no fakepeeks. I’d like to see someone like HerbieGRD from our board play as a wolf here, it would be pretty interesting.
See what it is like without the culture clash and unusual game set up. You think your way of playing is better, and I am going to tell you that we all to a player think ours is better. We are both likely wrong.
Generally not. Breadcrumbs (as we call them) are, in our experience, the fastest way to out a cop. Though maybe not if you have people leaving fakepeeks all over the place.
Most commonly the Detective/Seer will make a very solid case on their known Scum/Wolf and encourage others to ‘see’ their point.
(Hence my reference in my first post toDay)
Outing a cleared villager is generally only done if there is danger of a miss-lynch.
If villagers are cleared as they are found Wolves can just pick them off one by one and diminish the “cleared” pool for EOGame
Yeah I can see the difference now, on our board one of the reasons you DO leave breadcrumbs is other people are leaving them, too. We actually call it “seer cover,” and there are long theoretical debates about how wolves can best “seer hunt.” On our board, if a seer died and had not outed his or her peeks before they died, that would be regarded as unbelievably poor play.
Over here, with no cover, I can see why seers just wouldn’t say anything. They’re still covered, it’s just by deafening silence. I guess this board has decided to take that gamble.
