Is there a definite mechanism in place for the timing of night powers?**
i don’t want to come off all junior modish and i certainly don’t want to appear to be usurping our mod’s authority but i am going to go out on a limb here. i think the timing of most, if not all, night actions will be during the Night.
Some night actions take precedence; example a roleblock usually goes first, but a bus driver usually goes before anything except if they’re roleblocked. Protections happen before murders, and investigations go last. (If you’re converted to scum on a night you’re scanned, you’re scum for the scan).
That’s how I interpret it on other boards. No idea how the mod will handle it here.

That’s a generally accepted method. Though, investigations can happen before murders. It’s really irrelevant. I suppose the result of “Your target is dead Town.” is equivalent to “Your target is Town.”
Recently, we had a game where the moderator took the actions on a first come first served basis. I think he might be looking for confirmation that it was the right thing to do, though most everyone has disagreed with this design choice, especially as it wasn’t warned of ahead of time.

but other than a rb on a kill what’s the farcking difference. as you so eloquently note if you are the dick what the hell diff does it make. your target is dead (revealed at Daybreak) or you are dead so keep your yippity shut.
no worries. once we get playing for real some of the folks will step it up a notch while the rest will end up doing the helen keller gig.
it’s actually a pretty simple game on this board. you’ve really only got two choices. ltl which i kind of get behind because the lurking beasts are an abomination. or ltl which means that ed or meeko gets it in the neck early on. which really is not a bad thing either. i mean odds favor at least one of them being scum. and even if you get boxcars and they are both town the fact that they are insufferable bastards makes their elimination just that much more fun for the rest of us.
wonder with this linup if we can pull a lotr. i mean 30 some odd pages on Day 1 seems attainable. and with so many players if we can just keep it up we should push 300 by game end.

In general, quite true.
I suppose it makes a difference in games where post-dead conversation is allowed or if resurrection is a possibility.
