For reasons too inane to get into, I’ve changed my screen name from Dooku to Morbo. That is all.
At least they rhyme.
Big supporter of Nixon’s head, then, are you?
Awww. I kinda liked the name Dooku. Oh well, Morbo it is.
Morbo congratulates our gargantuan cyborg president. May death come quickly to his enemies.
Can you recognize the letter that looks like a little man with a hat?
Hello, tiny man. I WILL DESTROY YOU!!
Windmills Do Not Work That Way!
how’s the family? numerous and belligerent I assume?
You’re not French, I hope?
The board FAQ says that Mods only change usernames in “extreme circumstances”. Have the policies changed?
Wow, I had no idea Britney Spears was a Doper…
It’s OK honey…just make yourself comfortable here…we won’t bother you even if you decide to change your name back to Dooku again.
A word to the wise: Kittens give Morbo gas.
::shaves head::
So how’s your fleet of spaceships coming along?
Yeah, I too would like to know if and why the policy change.
FWIW, unless someone has entered a Witness Protection Program or some such thing, I think that changing usernames is wrong. Sure, you might have adopted your initial one on the spur of the moment and later regretted it, but people get used to you posting under that name, and the change is not necessarily noted by all the other posters.
Honestly, with all the posters here, it’s hard enough keeping up with the current crew, let alone having to learn all about the new monikers they might/might not adopt along the way.
Not Happy Jan.
Damnit! I was gonna say that. That’s my favorite line of his. (where’s that pouting smiley?)
If it makes you feel any better, wolf in second hand clothing stole my favorite line!
Oddly enough, I was under the impression that you (in the generic sense) got one name change free of charge, as it were. After you change that first time, though, then yeah there has to be a reason. PTB? Any input?
