I just mixed a rum and orange juice. Tastes pretty good…anybody have an official name for it? I googled, and found one sight that calls it a “columbia” but I don’t think that’s official. Perhaps since vodka+orange juice=screwdriver, maybe rum+orange juice=Phillips head
Steve, definitely call it Steve. Steve is a great name for a drink, and then when a grasshopper walks into your bar, you can say “Hey, we have drink named…”

A Phillips Screwdriver is Milk of Magnesia and Orange Juice (or vodka if you have a REALLY bad hangover).
I’d call (your concoction) the Smooth n’ Righteous. Or, You could just call it Rum and OJ, or you could call it The Dream Team.
How about an OJ Wallbanger?
Wallbanger MUST have Galliano in it. It is called that because the funky shape of the bottle necessitates it being “against the wall” in any bar setup.

That Columbia was a guy who thought he made up a drink. They were getting drunk when the shuttle did its thing IIRC.
BTW there’s a lot of rum drinks with OJ and just about anything else you can think of. Add a little cherry juice and make it a rum sunrise… 
I guess that Rumrise would have a shot of Grenadine (no cherry 'cept maybe as a garnish) a couple of shots rum and 4-5 ounces OJ on crushed ice…
WTF, I like tequila, burnt out on rum years ago. I usually drink it straight anyway.
