Name your "guilty pleasure" song.

Hey! That’s a great song. It shouldn’t come anywhere close to eliciting the same level of shame and humiliation as say, Convoy.

My own disgrace? You’re a Big Boy Now by John Sebastian, and that oddly compelling, though slightly incestuous Something Stupid duet between Frank and Nancy.

Depeche Mode - Everything Counts

in large amounts.

You’re a dirty bitch.

“Come Undone” by Duran Duran. I cannot stand Duran Duran. I hate them less than the Beatles (I HATE THE BEATLES), but that song is masterful. It is worthy of Roland during the days of The Hurting. It can only have been a fluke, because I’ve not heard anything else by them that even comes close.

In conclusion, I hate the Beatles. Shouldn’t have brought that up; now it’s on my mind again. Tears For Fears do not sound like them. What the hell are you talking about. For one thing, Tears For Fears uses more than three chords and three instruments and have moods besides happy or bizzare. Stop telling me I should like the Beatles. I hate them.

…er, sorry about that. Anyway, “Come Undone” by Duran Duran. Yes. Good song, that.

Daniel Boone - “Beautiful Sunday”

David Dundas - “Jeans On”

Pretty much any early Anne Murray or Olivia Newton-John, up until 1975.

Oh, I’m positive I’ve got more…I just (thankfully) can’t think of them at the moment.

Rainbow Connection - Kermit the Frog

‘Ladiez’ by Sarai (?). It’s a terrible terrible song, and it’s not like anything else that I like, but god how I love that song! Also ‘Man in the Mirror’ by Micheal Jackson.

“Close to You” by the Carpenters.

It was Blue Swede.

Mine would have to be Wild Boys by Duran Duran.

I’m going to go slam my hand in the door for admitting that.

White Town- Your Woman

I love that strange little song.

“What’s Your Fantasy” by Ludicrus. So bad, and yet oh so good.

I wanna li li li lick you from your head to your toes
and I wanna move from the bed down to the down to the to the floor
I wanna ah ah you make it so good I don’t wanna leave
but I got to kn kn kn know wha-what’s your fan-ta-ta-ta-sy…

picker, your first two picks are my Karaoke songs.
But for my guilty pleasure song, it’s gotta be “Beach Baby” by First Class.

Mandy by Barry Manilow.

I always hope there’s not an axe murderer hidden in the back of my car when I have it cranked and I’m singing it at the top of my lungs because I’d be so embarrassed.

::GASP!!::

We’re talking about guilty pleasures. There should be no guilt involved in listening to The Hip!

Mine would be the Grease soundtrack (“Hopelessly Devoted to You”, “You’re the One That I Want”, “Summer Loving”).

I also have Barry Manilow’s Greatest Hits and Abba Gold.

*Paradise by the Dashboard Light * - Meatloaf.

Ah hell, let’s just go with the whole damned album!

“I Could Have Danced All Night,” from the musical My Fair Lady.

I love to belt that one out and twirl around like Audrey Hepburn.

I love that song and I feel absolutely no guilt about it. Yeah, that’s right! I LOVE THE FROG! It just always makes me feel good.
Hmm, some guilty pleasures might be;
Almost Heaven, West Virginia - John Denver

along with many other John Denver and Barry Manilow songs.

Also, probably any song from any musical.

Pssst – Wile E – over here!

Thank you, I thought it was Bega but it didn’t seem right to my sleepy brain.

No I haven’t, I only found the song a couple weeks ago. I should see about finding it to see…

Hey Convoy is a good song! I like digging out my Mom’s Truckin’ records and playing them, that’s on there among others (lots of Red Sovine)

Thank you, I felt that Neil was wrong but couldn’t figure out who had done it.
