Interesting… in this thread I’ve “met” two Tennesseans, one named the same as my daughter (Sophia, the most beautiful baby ever - there’s even scientific proof ) and one (almost) named the same as my wife (Laura). Small world…

I’ve been here for just at a week now, although I am originally from Chattanooga and lived there, Murfreesboro and Nashville before heading down to Mississippi and then over to Atlanta.
Are you in Knoxville? I know there are a few Knoxville folks around - if we were lucky, we might be able to get them together.
And my name really is Laura. I just have horrid penmanship and my friends used to laugh and say I couldn’t even spell my own name…that it looked like I was writing Lsura. :o
And I’m not going to make it to Nashville this time, and that’s a guarantee. Between orientations and (still) trying to find an acceptable job (no, I haven’t put that much effort into it yet!), I can’t make the drive over there.

My company has PT and FT positions available in our verification department, Lsura. Day and night shifts available, phone work but no selling (you’ll be verifying the delivery of phone books). Date was Saturday, August 24th. I was personally hoping for a little later in the day, since my daughter will have a soccer game sometime that day, and then I’d have to get down there from Cincinnati, which is gonna be about 5 hours IIRC. But if you go with daytime that’s cool, I’ll just try to catch the next one. At least I get an hour break on the Central vs Eastern thing.

Luckily, for this transplanted Kentuckian, I’ll be enjoying some wonderful Gold Star Chili this weekend at the Red’s game. None of that crappy Graeters stuff though.
