Hey! Where we gonna meet?

So far, the nominees are:

1.) Parthenon
2.) Shelby Park
3.) Cedar Hill Park
4.) Zoo

And that’s it. Let me throw out a couple of possibilities:
1.) Ceaser’s on White Bridge Rd (good Italian food)
2.) Green Hills Grill
3.) Shogun
4.) H(.)(.)ters!
5.) Adventure Science Center (Hey! It’s edumacational!)
6.) Barnes & Noble
7.) Macaroni Grill
8.) Pie in the Sky
9.) Cheesecake Factory
10.) Wolfgang Puck’s
11.) La Paz
12.) Bricktop
13.) Lane Motor Museum

Thoughts? Votes?

I have no preferences, I do not know Nashville. I prefer indoors, though. Actually,
H(.)(.)TERS sounds pretty good (I like their wings!). Besides, they have beer. We peobably need to make a decision by Saturday the 11th so we can make reservations, if needed and folks can set up child care, etc. If we do pick a place thath needs reservations, I volunteer to set them up.

I’m still in, and I prefer indoors, too. It’s too blasted hot to be outside for hours.

I am easy enough as to the when/where. Just let me know and I will make plans to be there if at all possible. I prefer cool, be it outside in the evening or inside anytime.

My schedule has shifted. I can go.
Where/when?

Ceasar’s or Hooter’s.

Which Hooters? The downtown Hooters? My regular place is the Harding Place/Largo Drive Hooters! I am up for anything, though…

I’m probably in, and so is Max Carnage, probably :). 18th sounds fine, I would vote for Caesar’s over Hooters. I would actually vote for either Ted’s, Mellow Mushroom, or Pizza Perfect if we’re looking for something to eat and be inside. Outside, I’d say Centennial.

Please not a Hooters. I’m a pescetarian, so there’s little there I can eat, but besides that…come on, it’s a Hooters! Their food is nasty!

Okay, looks like Hooters is out. I’m not familiar enough with the other choices, so ya’ll decide.

I vote against hooters, Adventure Science Center, Barnes & Noble, and Lane Motor Museum.

Any of the other indoor places are good for me.

Okay, so it looks like the general feeling is that outdoor places are out. For those folks who’re unfamiliar with the remaining places that haven’t gotten a “No” vote, I’ll provide links to pages that have information on them.

Ceaser’s
Green Hills Grille
Shogun
Macroni Grill
Pie in the Sky
Cheesecake Factory
Wolfgang Puck’s
Bricktop
La Paz

Bricktop has a “no” in the good-for-groups column.

Okay, so that’s out. Fiver, have you had a chance to look over the menus to see if there’s any place you’d have a hard time finding something to eat? Any suggestions as to what time we’d like the shindig to start?

I’m really not so difficult to please. All the places you linked to are acceptable to me.

Since that is the weekend of drill, it would be best for my husband and me if it were evening-ish. Anytime after5:30 works best, but whatever time is fine, if it’s during the day, I will just come alone.

Evening would work best for me too.

Any time is good for me. It looks like evening was best for a few other people, so I am cool with that.

Heh. I’ve got a friend who has to have everything special ordered, and I’m used to dealing with him. It’s only a slight exaggeration to say that his requests include such things as the food be harvested by the light of the full moon, by non-menstrating 12 year olds who’ve never known men. :stuck_out_tongue:

Okay, since we seem to be looking at evening, I suggest we ditch the idea of meeting at the Cheesecake Factory, since that place tends to be mobbed. Any other places that folks want to eliminate?

To throw another option out there, a while back I had dinner at Boscos , a microbrewery in Hllsborough Village. I know they do groups, and the food was pretty good. I’m not a drinker, but I understand their custom beers are good. Any place is fine with me, though.
