If you look back over the posts, it looks like you were asking for the address of Fiver’s friends. I believe that is why Brynda asked if you were joking.
The address:
Blackstone Brewery
1918 West End Ave
Nashville, TN 37203
Phone: (615) 327-9969

Ah. Look at the post above yours. I read your post as asking for the address of Fiver’s friend, which seemed a little …stalker-ish. I get it now.
My google-fu gets me the address of:
1918 W End Ave
Nashville, TN 37203
Oddly enough, I couldn’t find it on their website.
Simulpost!!! Thanks, rainwalker. I am glad I am not the only one who read it that way.
I thought the same thing.
OK. What time do we meet?
Ok, I’m in. I’m looking forward to it!
I vote 6 PM, and put me down for 3.5 (me, a couple of ex-Dopers and their wee one).
I thought we were discussing Blackstones? They have a small area with a couch and some comfy chairs. Cesears sounds fine but it occurs to me we need a loungy area where we can sit and/ or move around.
What’s that Pizzia brew pub place on Hillsboro? Thats casual and roomy.
I work until six so I can come over right after.
I think we’re all still on the Blackstone’s page.

Ok, 6 @ Blackstone’s? LitHubby and I will be there with bells on – or more likely clothing. Maybe. Nah, most likely – no one wants to see that. How’s the parking there, since it’s on West End?
Okay, Nashville Dopefest is this Saturday.
Currently, we are scheduled for Blackstone at 6pm. If anyone wants to make a change of plans, now would be the time to do so.
For attendees, this is what I have:
Coming:
Rainwalker78:2
Zeldar: 2
Missred: 1
Brynda: 2
Litoris: 2
Fiver: 1
Cubmisstress: 1

Seem like they are coming but have not come out and said so:
Bosda

Please let me know ASAP if you are coming, so I can get a good count to the restaurant. If you know any dopers that live in Nashville that may have missed this thread, shoot them a message.
Litoris, my memory from the last time I was there (2004) is that parking is not too much of a hassle. I could be wrong or misremembering tho’.
I will confirm tonight with my wife as to whether we’re on (we’ll also bring a 5, going on 6, year old girl).
Thanks for all the arranging!
(I will say, that website sucks. What sort of restaurant website doesn’t have their address on it (as far as I can tell)?)
I’m in.
StG
No Joke. I had to use Nashville.citysearch.com
Seeing as how others are bringing their kids, change me to 4. Two adults and 2 kids (7 year old boy and 15 year old girl).
Me, 1.
I’m coming.
But, keep an eye out for last-minute cancellations.
The ozone alert today has really amped-up my breathing problems.
I’m jealous, I want to go to this. I was born and raised in Nashville. Attended an all girls non-catholic high school well known for its uniforms and snobbery. Blackstone is a good choice. good beer.
Actually, right now I am not sure if I can make it! Aarrgghh!
lobstermobster, even better known for Reese?
Count me in. I’ll be the old broad in the group.
Bosda, be there or be sorely missed. I’ve just gotten attached to you, that’s all. Didn’t I fight with you over the sale of Japanese books? Nurse you through an illness? Mourn with you when your cat died? And worse?
How are the reservations listed? Mr. Dope? Mr. Straight Dope?
I’m serious. Just in case the place is crowded, we need to know what group to ask for. Who is in charge of making the reservations?
Thanks to those of you who have gone to the trouble to get this together.
Cosmos, we promise not to have any fun until you get there.
That’s the one. Although she didn’t win the oscar until after I was gone gone gone so it wasn’t like that when I was there. Have fun you nashville fools, go to the Villager when you’re drunk and yell at the bartender for me. That’s what I would do.
