Nature's Soft Nurse MMP

{{{Ruble}}} I’m sad for you. I hope it feels better as time goes by. I wish life wasn’t so hard sometimes.

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off to work. Hockey after work.

Maybe a pain in the ass is better than a pain in the lower back?:dubious:

{{{{Ruble}}}}

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 58 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 81 and mostly N.O.S. for the day. The big plan today is yahd irk over to the church house. We shall meet at nine this mornin’ for brekkie and to discuss teams for this year. We divide into two teams and each team mows every two weeks. Then we shall go over lawn mower procedures which is important especially for me cause every year I get on a mower and duh up about how the thing is supposed to work. Then I remember. I am sure there will be a buncha sticks and branches to pick up as well as pee-kahn trees love to drop limbs and branches. Hopefully all this will be over by early afternoon.

Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then I suppose I should at least purtify up a bit so as not to be a public disgrace.

Happy Sattidy Y’all!

Grocery shopping is a bit of a joy at 7:30 on Saturday morning. I had most of the store to myself, and it was great. Then **FCD **and I ran to Lowe’s and we just got back. I’m about to join him in the shed for some manual labor. Good times…

Happy Saturday!

Up and caffeinating. Fixing to do the breakfast dishes and jump in the shower. Yay Saturday!

I got my hairs cut this morning!

I love my Amanda.

Happy Saturday!

It’s a partly N.O.S., warm day today. It’s already 67 degrees outside and the high will be 72. It may rain today. If not, then I’ll sit out on the porch or a while and see what the neighborhood is up to.

Just another day here, nothing special to do.
Some irk, some house irk, and a lot of proof reading on the agenda. He has message board assignments due, they are just his favorite . So I’ll be hearing a lot of complaining about that. I read the posts he has to choose from to respond to, I feel for him. I’d have a hard time responding to any of them.

We pulled the wires for the lights and the exhaust fan. We gathered together all the stuff on the floor and it’s all piled in the wagon. We put up one sheet of OSB, but **FCD **hurts so much, we quit. I’m waiting for a landscaper to show up and give me an estimate for tidying my gardens. The house is open to let some fresh air in.

It’s a nice day.

I have a crazy cat today. He has been thundering up and down the hallway until he smacked head first into a door. I guess he is okay, how do you know if your cat has a concussion?

Sah-son got 2 of 3 responses done, one more to go and a paper to finish. Up until this week he has been really good at getting everything done early. These responses have been harder for him because they are based on opinion instead of facts.

I’m going to open the windows now, it’s 75 degrees outside!

Sari I’d guess if he were drooling, or acting lethargic (in non-usual ways) or walking unsteadily you might need to worry. It sounds like he was just being a cat though. For small animals, they sure can make a huge rumpus.

It’s N.O.S. out, which is not so great for me, but I am going to do something. I don’t know what, but I will. I’m feeling sorry for myself about not doing things, so I’m going to do a thing.

Happy Satiddy all.

More productivity! I cleaned the removable, greasy innards from my smoker and gave the inside surfaces a quick swipe with paper towels. I took the loppers and lopped down all the small trees that have been annoying me for ages. There are 3 left but they’ll require a chainsaw. **FCD **left the chainsaw in his car and it’s in the shop till Moanday. So they’ll be taken down next weekend, I guess.

We loaded the trash and recycling in the car and **FCD **is taking it all to the convenience center. And we decided to let Red Robin make supper, since we get 15% off our tab as Red Royalty members. I’m thinking it’ll be a fish-n-chips night. But maybe I’ll get broccoli instead of the N.O.T.s - it’s healthier.

All in all, a pretty good day!

Howdy Y’all! Mowage of the back (which now includes a bunch of the front) forty got completed, I arrived back at da cave, had a shower, et N.O.L. and have achieved nappage. All in all not a bad day so far. Brisket left from Thursday shall be turned into sorta, kinda, cheesesteaks for dindin.

The geometry is somewhat confusing. :dubious:

Sorta cheesesteaks have been ingested along with oven fries. 'Twas good.

flytrap in the past we mowed an area behind and to the side of the church buildings that is mostly pee-kahn trees and the area around the buildings, the playground and the grounds that front the main road have been contracted out. This year we are mowing the area that fronts the main road in addition to what we have always mown. Thus, the back forty and a chunk of the front forty. OK, it’s really ten acres includin’ the playground and buildin’ areas, but we call it the back and front forty cause apparently we are in to hyperbole. The playground and the area around the buildin’s are still contracted out. So in effect, half is contracted out and half is mowed by church folks.

Fine then, I’ll just talk to myself.

We shall now retire to the boudoir to watch teevee until sleepy time which won’t be long.

Nitey Nite Y’all!

Oh boy.

Had a fairly busy Sattiday.

0630: Wake Up
0730: Head to Soccer Field
0830: Coach my first game with my girl’s team
0945: We win 3-2
1000: Coach my second game with my boy’s team
1120: We lose 1-3
1130: Drive back home to check on weather and change into referee uniform.
1200: Drive back to field.
1230: Referee 1st game (no rain)
1350: Referee 2nd Game (drenched and ended 10 minutes early by thunder and lightning in the area).
1500: Get home. Bathe (a shower is a shower, but a nice hot bath is a soak). Unwind.
1730: Go out to eat at Main Street Cafe Diner (yes, it’s redundant, but the food is pretty good).
1900: Home to stay.

I expect that I’ll be heading to bed pretty soon. Old fat guys shouldn’t be doing this.

All y’all take care.

sari, it sounds like Adam was just being a cat. They are remarkably resiliant critters.

Our group and a group of Vandy students bagged 5400+ lbs of potatoes today for distribution to middle Tennessee families. We had Pandora’s Road Trip playlist going and everyone was singing and dancing a little while we worked.

I swung through Fat Mo’s a while ago and got a Mo Burger de-luxe (two patties, cheese, grilled onions and mushrooms, jalapenos, bacon and BBQ sauce). Now I’m waiting for the first half to settle before attempting to tackle the second half. :burp:

It’s good to hear from you metal mouse. I didn’t see a post from you yesterday and wondered if maybe we should send out the mounties.

I worked, I came home. I had to go back to work, because my assistant manager locked himself out of the office. But there’s hockey and beer.

Jeez, MetalMouse, you’d have more free time if you hadn’t retired.

Sari, I’m not opening the windows this weekend, because we have pollen fog already.

You named your flowbee?
This morning was spent with my friends from high places. This afternoon was spent with ♪ Friends in Low Places ♫. No, not Doggio, but Garth…& Trisha, too; it was awesome…& LOUD!

Along the way I was apparently dipped in a vat of boiling oil, because I’s fried! [del]Good[/del] Great day but I think bed will be in order as soon as food in consumed.
