The idiots at NBC have been ruining Law and Order for years with commercials that pretty much give away the entire plot. But now they’ve gone too far. They’ve ruined the cliffhangers from the second season of Heroes.
During American Gladiators last night they ran a promo “From the set of Heroes Season 3”. In this commercial they showed Nikki (who might have died in a fire) and Nathan (who was shot by a sniper).
So yeah, thanks you fucking jackasses for ruining the Heroes cliffhangers.
To be fair, did you honestly expect them to stay dead?
Well, Isaac IS still dead. From the series’ short life, we don’t know just how much like a comic book the show is when it comes to deaths. I mean, sure, Nathan was probably safe the entire time, but I could definitely see Nikki as a permanent fatality.
Maybe they were part of a dream sequence. You don’t know.
Once they show a guy on the floor in a frozen scream with the top 75% of his brain visible, it’s gonna be hard to retcon him back to health. It’s not like he got shot in the eye or something. 
Honestly, I thought Nikki was toast. The fans are pretty indifferent to her (and by indifferent, I mean I’ve never met anyone who would have minded if she died). So yeah, a part of me is a little pissed.
Was I the only one that thought the thread title just lacked a colon and meant that in the next Heroes season, they’d have monkey supervillains?
No, I had that thought, too.
Which would have been awesome. Now I’m just thinking of all the powers a monkey could have that would make it a supervillain.
There is a long, long, LONG tradition of gorilla supervillains in comics. While not quite monkeys, it is a close precedent…
