Darn, my Facebook bracket is going much better. Oh well.
I have 3 of 4 in play tonight. If all 3 come through I should be near the top, at least for tonight. But as long as UNC and UCLA keep winning, I’m toast. (I need Louisville and Xavier to advance to the Final 4 from those regions, and Memphis to win it all)
Tonight is the big night for me i need Kansas and Stanford to win then I will at least be looking good in my office pool. but other wise I’m cheering for upsets. Last night it was the Ws and they all failed me.

I’m actually winning another pool, but in that pool I was a lot less ballsy (there is money involved in that one - 3 1’s and a 2 in the final 4).
Those 3 seeds screwed me today. The worst part is that those 3s were each supposed to make my Final Four. It was nice dreaming for a while there.
Welp…i got 4 teams in the elite 8…none in the final four.
Well, I’m currently #4, but I think it all matters who wins in the final four as IIRC those award major points which dwarf whatever you get in the early rounds…
If UNC beats UCLA in a low scoring game, I am set.

Okay, so not going out on a limb helped. Obviously, I want my favorite team Kansas to win, but I went high-seeds all the way. Guess I was sick of being cute, taking risky picks, and coming in last place.

I threw my bracket in the garbage this morning. I only have 1 of the Final 4 teams, luckily my national champ. Now I hopping that my cowardly friend who I paid for in the office pool wins so I can take my 50%. Bastard went all chalk all the way.
Dead fricken last. I have 3 number one’s in the Final 4 and who do I pick for a Nat. Champion? A number 2 that got beaten by a 10.
I’m currently in a 6-way tie for 5th place (out of 128 entries).
I will have sole possesion of 1st place with a UCLA win over Kansas.
A ten that was within a shot of beating a 1 though.
Woo-hoo! The Jayhawks came through, and pulled me up from somewhere in the 20s to a respectable 5th. What a game!
