Need help adding youtube videos to MP3 Player

I just got a new mp3 player (Creative Zen MX). On my old Zen, I had a bunch of videos that I added from youtube. I’m not exactly sure how I did that, though, as it was a different computer as well. I know that I went to keepvid.com to save the files and then when I added the file to my Zen, it would prompt me to convert the video as it wasn’t in the proper format.

Now, when I do that, there’s no prompt and it just adds the video but when I go to find it, it’s not there. Do I need to d/l another program to convert it, or is there another step I’m missing?

Thanks, if anyone can help.

According to this:

You are supposed to use something called Creative Centrale to convert them to .cmv format.

I have no experience with that model of MP3 player but I’ve had good luck with the free video converters here:

It looks like the YouTube to iPod and PSP Converter will save as an MP4, which your MP3 player should be able to recognize according to that link. All the youtube downloaders I have used save as a .flv file, which does not appear on the list of supported file types. Maybe that is the problem?

Thanks, Nicest of the Damned. When I went to keepvid, it said that it was already an MP4, though. I’ll check out the links and see what happens.

It worked! Thanks, Nicest!
