Need help with Vista home networking

I have two Vista machines both running home premium. I have a wireless netgear router as well. I would like to be able to connect the two so I can pull/use files off of each other.

The main computer is called ‘Family’, it’s what is used for almost everything. The other computer is called ‘TV’, and is used to record our shows.

Family is hooked directly to the netgear, TV is using wireless. Both connect to the internet with no problems. I have also been able to connect each other and been able to open the \Family\public directories of both computers. However if I try and connect to \Family\Family directory or TV\TV directory I get the following error:

I have gone under right click\share and clicked share this folder. I just looked and I have shared the c:\users folder for everyone.

For my folder options I also have the ‘Use Sharing Wizard’ checked. Under ‘Network and Sharing’ I have everything to On except for printers and Password protect.

I have tried looking through my book, but it doesn’t say anything about this error that I could find. I can copy the folders over to public, but that’s a waste of space. Can anyone give me a hand?
