First of all let me state that this is NOT a witnessing thread.
I am making a public promise to anyone who asks to pray for them, their families, and any problems they may be facing. I can’t promise you any miracles, but I will approach the throne of God on your behalf. All you have to do is state what you want me to pray for.

Ten million US dollars in small unmarked bills with no strings attached, in the trunk of my car before I leave work this afternoon. How will this help me and my family? Well, I will be able to spend more time with my wife and kids and finally open up that antique refinishing business in New Hampshire I’ve always wanted to have.
Jenkinsfan, what do you feel makes you so special that your intercession would be more meaningful to God than anyone else’s? If I felt the need for divine help, I think I could handle it on my own.
I’m not more special than anyone else. If you want to pray for yourself-GREAT! I was simply going to join you, Sir. After all, where two or three are gathered in God’s Name He promises to be there.
I’m kind of new to this prayer stuff. A real rookie. Perhaps you can help me out here. How does that prayer go that would get you to KNOCK OFF THIS CRAP and stop you from being the SD equivalent of a Jehova’s witness ringing my doorbell on a Sunday morning!
I don’t have anything to do with the homosexual lifestyle but I often open the thread on “Ask the Gay Guy”.
I don’t have much to do with the practice of abortion, use of hand guns, busty redheads, and naked hollywood stars either. But I open those threads just the same.
Call it a natural and unwavering curiosity about the world at large.

If you want to pray for someone, let me suggest praying for Brother Henri de Rosiers, a seventy-year-old priest whose name appeared on a ‘death list’ drawn up by a death squad believed to operate with the acquiescence of the police in Brazil. Brother de Rosiers works as a lawyer for the Pastoral Land Commission (CPT) in Xinguara (in the south of Para State.)
This area has long been the focal point for the killings of land activists by local landowners, which go unpunished for many years. The CPT, which is administered by the Catholic church, has worked tirelessly against those killings and for the defence of land activists. Their work has brought them into conflict with landowners and their supporters in positions of authority.
