need to play this...

Hello, my name is Evlbe (duh) and I only made this account to ask a question about a game I found a while ago. This online game was fun, and I would like to play again, but there is one problem: I can’t find it. I search and I search, but it just seems to elude me. In any case, i would like your help in finding this game. Clues to this game are as follow:

You can choose your character to be one of 6 different jobs (I remember pastaromancer and something along the lines of disco bandit).

There’s a mountain called Noobs Mt. that has this little bird who gives you quests and things

Your character is a cheap little stick animation

You can kill little bunny rabbits to get their livers and give them to the bird on Noobs Mt. (the bird tells you to do this).

You have to pass a quiz in order to chat.

If anyone has the slightest idea as to what this game may be, please let me know. The title of this game has something to do with being angry, frustrated, etc.

Kingdom of Loathing.

Thank you so much! Now I guess that this account will rot into nothing but a pile of pixels now…

No problem. 'S a great game.

edited to add in response to Revenant Threshold

Indeed, KOL’s approach to things like text-messaging speak is very similar to your standard SDMBer. The literacy test is administered by the Ghost of the English Language, and upon passing the test a player is told by the ghost to go forth and avenge its death.

If only all online games had a typing test to join.

By the way, what exactly do those “goofballs” do to you?

Why, they make you feel good and strong, of course! Until the buzz wears off.

Boring and literal answer:

They boost your stats for a while, but one day after the effect wears off you go into withdrawal, which lowers your stats and can only be cured by waiting or by taking more goofballs, which in turn will eventually give you more withdrawal.
And, of course, only the first “hit” is free, so after a while you’re saddled with a very expensive habit and the risk of hundreds and hundreds of turns of withdrawal if you quit. It’s a pretty clever mechanic, I think.

Thank The Creators i didn’t eat them!

There’s a KOLWiki at the Coldfront site - kol.coldfront.net - that’s really helpful if you don’t mind spoilers. I just ascended again yesterday, myself, my first time with oxycore.

I used to play that game and still have my accounts. If you want any free stuff, just let me know.

We do have a Friends of Cecil clan, by the way.

Hey, Autolycus, do you have any tires? Also, how do I get into the clan?

Hey autolycus, I’ll accept your free stuff offer.

As an update to things i am doing right now: i got some new aquariums to store my little fish in. Im moving everything, including my frogs (tiny little brown water loving frogs) and I put my legless lizard in a new, waaay bigger cage thingy. And on Kol, i got a new mosquito pet! i have yet to put him to use, as i have no more turns.

Also, as a tip: Play either Disco Bandit or Accordion Thief. That Moxie benefit makes you frigging impossible to hit. I’ve gone further with this character even screwing up than with any other; on the first day alone, no less. I managed to clear out the entire Tavern and beat Baron Whatshisface on the third try, and I created Mrs_Cake today.

I already am a disco bandit, and I have 37 moxie, 47 with my bonuses. I do agree with you, these guys kick some serious butt.

Well, dang. Now I wish I hadn’t picked sauceror.

Pasta, gravy, or dessert sauce?
