Netflix Holiday Favorites Row?

According to this press release, Netflix has added a “Holiday Favorites” row to the web site home page, Wii and PS3. I’m not seeing it on the web site anywhere. I tried signing out and back in and clearing my cache. Can anyone else see it? It would be so nice to have Christmas episodes of TV shows identified.

I’m seeing it, and it does indeed have some hiliday-themed episodes of a bunch of TV shows.

I have noticed that Netflix often rolls out changes to their interface/queue system in phases - some users will get stuff quicker than others.

Thanks. I didn’t know they did that. Hopefully it’ll be there when I get home from work.

Seems like a good assortment. It looked like all of the titles were Christmas or Santa related so I was going to ask why we had to pretend to be inclusive, and then I got to The Hebrew Hammer

Thumbs up for the first offering being Emmet Otter’s Jug Band Christmas.

Alas, no Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol.

Is it on the “Browse DVD’s” screen or the “Watch Instantly” screen?

FWIW I just checked my account on my PC and I do not have any holiday genre or anything.

So, don’t knock yourself out looking for it. You don’t have it yet.

It’s showing up for me, as one of the rows on the Watch Instantly screen.

Logged in to my account, I found it on the “Watch Instantly” tab. For me it’s the 7th row down, below TV New Arrivals.

I got home from work and still couldn’t see it so I called Netflix. The CSR tried to tell me there were site issues but when I said other people can see it she dug deeper and found out that it hasn’t been rolled out to everyone. It’s just a test right now and they’re going to see what kind of feedback they get first. I believe her but the decision to do it that way doesn’t make any sense to me.

So, just like Crown Prince of Irony said but there’s the reason for it.
