New kitties need names

Kobayashi and Maru.
You got a pair of cats…that’s a no-win scenario.

I knew a cat called Muffy so I called a kitten the same name. Though it sounds a bit rude now. But no ruder than “pussy”.

Ok, they have (tentative) names. Narsissis & Echo. He will be called “Nasty.”
They may get new ones if those don’t feel right.

Spanky and Darla are alternates.

… which leaves her to be called “Ech…Ech…Ech…Ech…” thork!

any new pics?

One of them needs to be named Figaro.

Excellent!

LOL, I think all my cats are named that.

Good name choices, picunurse!

The boy is Butler

New pictures: 1, 2, 3, 4

I think these are going to take you to the photobucket page of all the kittie pictures. I don’t know why.

The links worked for me.

My husband suggested the names “Fuzzball” and “Fuzzbucket.” He’s poetic.

A long time ago, when we were kids, our little calico cat bore her second litter, two kittens. We named the male Buttons and his sister Sweetie. Buttons was an orange tabby; Sweetie was orange-and-white. When Buttons was half grown he beat up the neighbors’ dog!

Years later our tabby Nancy bore six kittens! Two we kept the longest were a gray female, Dusty, and her black-and-white tabby brother Buddy Boy. Another kitten in the litter had 6 toes on one front foot and 7 on the other. We called him Ripley. Poor little guy–he died when still a kitten. :frowning:

Ok, they have names! She is still Callie. He is Buddy. It’s what he comes to. In both pictures he is on the left.

The pictures don’t really show it but he is growing much faster than she. He’s like a stompy pony running across you at night, she’s like a butterfly landing on you.

They are just too adorable for words!!

We got a new kitten a couple of weeks ago, ourselves. His name is Tony Stark, which is what happens when you let your 9-year-old name a cat.

Oh, right - pic.

Cool.

That’s the best pic I could find of him - he’s so black he barely shows up in photographs. Clearly a future Black Sabbath fan.

Alessan, what an adorable little guy! I know what you mean about black, but you got a good one!

I just tried to take some more, but they were having no part of it. Here they are anyway:

One.
Two.
Three.
Four.
Five.
Six.

Buddy’s cool. I call all animal’s “Buddy” when I can’t remember their name. My co-worker calls everything “Sparky”. Every so often we actually get the name right.
