Newsflash: Cuervo survives the night in my care.
His appetitie is ungodly. Since I posted last night, this half-pound cat has polished off about half of a small can of soft food, took a plentiful pee on the towel in his little box-lid bed, and this morning let loose a humongous doody.
Good signs all. And the wheezy noise is only there when he’s excited, such as when I pick him up and we nuzzle-nuzzle.
(I did not admit to that, just for the record)
Anne Neville suggested pics of him by his namesake brand and I thought that’s a good way also to show just how wee and tiny he is.
Note to self: Flip that insipid blanket over so the background isn’t so cluttered in his pictures

Awwwwww!!! Cuervo is an adorable little guy, and lucky to have you and your family in his life. Stories of folks helping abandoned kittens always make me cry (in a happy sort of way).

The Neville kitties, both of them rescued, thank you for taking in a poor homeless kitten.
I’ve had cats forever, and this guy just gives me a nice feeling. I feel so bad for what he went through to get here, I’m taking his recovery and survival pretty seriously.
This afternoon, he enjoyed his first semi-crunchy food, and dug right in.
Also, the wheeziness is gone. I think last night was just all the stress of people fawning, the move and noise upsetting him. He’s calmer now, and just loves attention. And food, he’s digging food.
