As for me, I’m already in line for it.
Well. Ok. But I would want to be, if I could be.

YES PLEASE! I want to relive my childhood! Just don’t destroy it!
Though they said they’d focus on the mature comics, so I’m all for that. TMNT 1 and 2 were two and still are 2 of my favorite movies… Oh man, I’m excited! Turtle Power!
I was a fanatic the first time around. Even had their album which, IIRC, was sold exclusively through Pizza Hut. I didn’t see the 2007 movie, but if they’re really sticking to the Eastman and Laird comics for this one I’ll give it a shot.
This was announced the same day as the Turtles kicked off their 25th anniversary in New York City.
Peter Laird has a bit more, including the fact that his idea is to use costumes with computer-generated “face replacement” for the Turtles. (Kevin Eastman is no longer involved with the Ninja Turtles franchise.)
Figured Mobo would get in on this.
So it is happening ?
It is indeed happening- the link I posted has the official announcement and some extra information from Laird.
I saw the 2007 movie and enjoyed it. It wasn’t as childish as I expected. I think I was the only adult in there without kids.
I will definitely be seeing this movie as well as GI Joe if I have to walk 10 miles in the rain. I’ve been waiting impatiently for GI Joe and now I hear about this. Hurry up and make these movies! I hope they do write it primarily for adults who were kids back when it all began.
