New shirtless Weiner pics emerge that he's been sending to attractive women - Is he insane?

Sending photos of your junk to stragers on the internet is jouvenile, and also pretty stupid for a public figure.

I guess he wasn’t thinking with his head.

Jackknifed Juggernaut:

I’m no great fan of Bill Clinton, and this is a huge part of it. Although to give credit where it’s due, at least Clinton was smart enough to only be risking his career for actual head. What Weiner gets out of this bizarre behavior, I have no idea. Surely if he’s trying to pick up a girl, he can, with minimal effort, find one who will go out with him without requiring pictures first.

Unless he’s a genuine exhibitionist rather than a clumsy pick-up artist.

Anyone else finding the humor in the fact his wife is staying with him? That really surprised me…until I heard what she did for a living.

She’s an aide to Hillary Clinton.

Yeah, that’s pretty much my opinion.

And I would have loved to be in the room when Hillary and Mrs. Weiner saw each other for the first time after this–their faces must have been very expressive.

I hear that Bill Clinton officiated at the wedding last year. The story just keeps adding one ironic detail after another…

Actually it is. I had this discussion with a guy I knew a while back. I easily took pics of him without him ever knowing they were being taken. And that’s just with a cell phone.

I go past a spy store on my way to the gym and they have cameras AND videos in pens, on watches, on pin, on mp3 players (looks like a Sansa Clip).

Who on earth finds photos like that enticing?

The problem is not who finds that enticing, the problem is who thinks that’s enticing.

Drunk guys, sex addicts, idiots, all of the above.

Guys see nekkid women/parts and get all hot and bothered, and think that women react the same, but if you’re not drunk, really horny or stupid, then you remember they don’t and just beat off to some porn.

There’s an interesting article in the New York Times about an interview with Weiner and Twitter.

Looks like it kicked the like of risk a little too hard.

So that’s why they never write me back. :frowning:

Don’t feel so bad, if you were famous, they would sell the pic to ABC news.

Sending picture of yourself online is so alien to me, that I can not relate to Weiner. When a politician does it, he is asking for trouble. He had to know it could not end well.
It is not a poor decision. It is more than that. He had to be getting some kind of psychological payoff. That is what worries me. There is something not quite right about him to have done that. So where next does this flaw evince itself?
I lean a little to the left and thought he was doing a great job of fighting the Republican glacier that drives right over people over in its gathering of money and power. There is nobody else that will stand up like him. But I do not feel comfortable with him anymore. He is not the person i thought he was.
