“The stakes are very high this election, but you know why I know we’re going to win?” Tillis said in a speech at the North Carolina Republican virtual convention Friday night. “Because people remember how good their lives were back in February.”
What Jones is saying is slightly different than that, but still nuts, and really too convoluted to figure out what the hell he’s saying. From the link:
We’re now at the point where the Republican whackjobs are now throwing their own people under the bus with startling regularity.
Trump blamed his own supporters and own shitty contractors (and campaign contributors) for building a shitty wall to “make him look bad”
Now Alex (nutbar) Jones blames his own staff for printing an idiotic conspiracy theory, so he has to come up with an even crazier conspiracy theory to explain it.
I actually saw a meme on Facebook suggesting that the name is code for exactly that. Waif=a small child; fare=the amount you pay for something.
According to snopes, this whole conspiracy “theory” seems to be based on one guy on Reddit noting that Wayfair’s price on a cabinet seemed unusually high, and deciding that therefore, they must be secretly engaging in human trafficking.
Another one? Didn’t this happen last year after he … did something or other really stupid that I can’t remember because there has been so much stupidity and who wants to remember his in particular?
From The New York Times, “Last August, Mr. Carlson went on vacation two days after he likened white supremacy to a “hoax,” saying it was “actually not a real problem in America,” remarks that prompted some advertisers to distance themselves from his show.”
