NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 1)

It turns out “election fraud” is the modern from of “Chariots of iron.”

I can’t believe Ted Cruz thinks his God would even listen to a Democrat’s prayer.

One wonders how his comments could have had any impact on a sequestered jury.

The same way he snuck all those votes into the ballot boxes of six states to win the election, duh.

Ben Carson: Racial equity is just another form of racism.

There are sooooo many people in the Trumpiverse that just will not shut the fuck up.

Seriously.

The Stupid Interregnum is over, Ben Carson. Go back to sleep.

He’s been talking in his sleep.

“I’ve been listening to your dreams and getting very low…”

.I’ll say.

Is this the story where he says “and trust me I know all about that racism stuff 'cause I used to be black” ?

Whoa - you won’t believe this!

Actually, wait…Yes, yes, you will believe this, as in - SOfrickinP.

That’s odd - nothing about clean-energy incentives or care for the elderly or children.
Democrats anyway are going to let their $2.25 trillion version get relentlessly chipped away at.

Yet another day when it’s embarrassing to be a Texan. Texas Republicans, like all Republicans, hate poor people.

https://www.houstonchronicle.com/politics/texas/article/Texas-House-vote-on-Medicaid-16121100.php

The Texas House on Thursday defeated an amendment to expand Medicaid-funded health coverage for hundreds of thousands of low-income Texans, likely closing off any viable path for Democrats to move the decade-long effort forward this session.

The vote was 68-80, with Rep. Lyle Larson of San Antonio the lone Republican in support. Eight other Republicans who were being closely watched, given their earlier support for a separate Medicaid expansion bill, ultimately sided in opposition.

“Unfortunately we are stuck in a decade-old narrative that has forced the closing of many rural hospitals and less access to physician care,” Larson tweeted after the vote.

Texas has long had both the highest rate and overall number of uninsured people in the country, and has among the worst and least equitable health outcomes.

5 HOURS LATER

Gee whiz, 14 whole pages? I can see why you wouldn’t feel the need to read the legislation you’re criticizing. Who has that kind of time?

I’m not sure who this is (there’s no name given in the description and I didn’t hear it during the video) but at about the 1 minute mark, he says something that makes even the other Fox News hosts (including Jeanine Pirro, who I do recognize) go “oh no”:

For those not inclined to watch, he says “I’m glad he (Chauvin) was convicted on all charges even if he may not have been guilty of them all because I don’t want any more riots”.

It was too much for even his co-hosts to stomach.

That’s Greg Gutfeld, a participant on Fox’s “The Five”, and guy with his own Late Night Talk Show now. I hadn’t heard of him before a couple of weeks ago, but he’s been outrageous lately (maybe to get publicity for his sow), and the TV in my gym runs Fox right next to the CNN that I watch.

“Shhhhh, no, not while we’re on the air!!”

Oh, for the days when the FCC wasn’t completely spineless…

Not sure the FCC has the power to do anything about the idiots on FoxNews.

They don’t. They can only control broadcast TV.

That’s not what is says on the FCC website:

“The Federal Communications Commission regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. territories.”

The good news is that Arizona SB 1485, calling for anyone who misses two elections – including municipal and special elections – be purged from the PEVL* if they do not respond to a post card – is stalled indefinitely by one vote.

The bad news is that the one Republican who made the difference in a straight party line vote is merely waiting until the Republican party’s third audit of the election.

The senator who introduced the bill said, with no trace of irony, “It’s disappointing to be on the receiving end of someone’s temper tantrum.”
