Republicans have demonstrated for years that they were willing to destroy the country just to upset liberals, but that one takes it to a whole new level.
Sadly, this is only goal of the right in politics. And, they are wildly successful. Mitch McConnell has admitted that he is the grim reaper of bills. They don’t legislate any longer.
I think someone should open a “right wing freedom” restaurant, where they trigger the libs by not following any health protocols.
Republicans can go and eat there safe in the knowledge that no staff are washing their hands after taking a shit. That there is no namby-pamby washing of produce before putting it on your plate. And of course, no masks, no vaccinations. The chicken will be stored raw on a counter for hours, just like God intended. No leftie inspectors will check for rat feces in the prep area - regulations like this are bad for business!
It will really make the left angry if they open such a restaurant, and even angrier when the righties take their whole families there. Win-win!

And after the chicken is cooked, it’ll be put back in the container it came from (using the same tongs, of course). Saves washing up, and allows the cooked chicken to soak up all the good juices.
By cooking, I assume you mean leaving it in hot tap water for 20-30 minutes. Sous Vide for those real Americans who have things to do and can’t afford to wait, unlike the lazy French.

So the next time you encounter anyone actually cooking their chicken (say, e.g., at a backyard 4th of July BBQ), do not hesitate. Ask politely but firmly, “Would you please not cook that chicken? Science shows there is no reason for you to be cooking it. Your cooking the chicken is making me uncomfortable”
