And yet the people for whom your revised sentence is most accurate, would never, ever utter it. (But they probably meet many people who secretly apply it to them anyway…)
Meanwhile, in Loser Donald’s stomping grounds, Florida Men have panic-bought so much gasoline that nearly a third of stations are out of gas despite the fact that Florida doesn’t even get its Gass from the Colonial Pipeline.
A Michigan state legislator wants to require fact checkers to register with the state, and file a one million dollar bond.
This guy joined in the lawsuit to have the Biden election overturned. His wife is a co-chair of the state Republican Party, and was a member of the slate of Individual 1 electors who tried to get their votes chosen as the official state electors even though Individual 1 did not win the state.
Tell me about it. I waited for 45 minutes for gas at the Costco. I was out of town this weekend and was out of gas (truck said I had 24 miles left when I got to the pump).
As for Hummer guy, if he been in front of me and had filled the Hummer and then pulled out a gas can to fill*, I would be in jail right now and he would be in the hospital to have a 5 gallon gas can surgically removed from his rectum.
* Actually he couldn’t have. They had a sign that said “No gas cans.” and the pump cut off at 20 gallons. Costco has their shit together.
But you know that he would just ignore the sign and then just start another transaction to fill up the rest of his truck and cans. I mean what are they going to do? torch his hummer?

Several Republican members of Congress have introduced a bill to prevent federal and military agencies from running diversity and anti-racism training.
A new video has surface of Marjorie Taylor Greene, before she became a member of Congress, pounding on the door of AOC’s Congressional office, calling her a coward for not coming out, and shouting through the mail slot of the office door. One of the people accompanying her is a Capitol insurrectionist.
Congress has come to a deal to form a 1/6 commission, with equal numbers of Democrats and Republicans. This article doesn’t mention it, but another report I saw said that the Republicans will have veto power over subpoenas,
I didn’t hear it described as veto powers but my understanding is that yes, both the Chair and Vice-Chair have to agree in order to issue a subponea. The Chair will be a Democrat and the VIce-Chair will be a Republican.
