While I’m sure many Idaho legislators are confused by things, I think this article makes it clear that stupid can have wide-ranging and long-term consequences:
Called maganut last night to see what’s up in Alex Jones world. He said COVID is a bioweapon to depopulate. And the future holds a plan where “they” shut down the internet.
Yeah, like the one with the giant rover security balloons rolling around to keep the residents from escaping.
An idea promoted by the same people who say it’s nothing to worry about, because it has a 99% (or whatever) survival rate.
He said catching it is much better than vaxing as your immune system is better at fighting it then. Except for those who die from it…
So, he would fight a war by drafting civilians, handing them a rifle, and sending them out to fight without – you know – training them first? Because the cauldron of war so so much better at teaching them to fight than that stupid boot camp is.
At this point I’m fine with COVID parties. Let’s see how that works out.

Well, in my fantasy, they die first (note: I do not wish it upon them). Do I want them wandering around infecting others? No. Are they doing that anyway even without my random fantasy element? Yup.

Astounding the depths people were going to destroy their reputations. All in the name of Donald Trump. It’s unbelievable. There was a very long piece in the Atlantic a week or two ago that said that most of the Jan 6th rioters were well-off middle class people.
What’s going on? I was upset when my candidates lost but not enough to take it out in public never mind break the law.
It’s funny that I have a feeling a lot of the most ardent Trump supporters probably never liked the guy all those years he was on television as a narcissistic blowhard.
