NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 1)

Really? I thought it was about Kurt Cobain.

Nope. Song was written in ‘91.

The article is accurate, but it was also written in 2016. Cruz and Rubio, at least, have changed course. Unfortunately for us, far too many of our fellow citizens are not only okey-dokey with all those characteristics of Trump, they gleefully embrace those characteristics because they’re the same way.

There would be some bone fragments and blood spatter, but, as far as actual grey matter, would they be able to find any?

Naw. There are specialist cleaning services for that and, if worse comes to worst, they can just renovate the room and burn the removed debris in a glorious bonfire. Cleanse through fire, that’s the way.

Mr. Wolf Cleaning Services can take care of it.

Not to mention Lindsey Graham, who at one point was ‘disgusted’ with Trump’s rhetoric.

If it turns out that Parler is just a big old identity-theft scam, I’m going to piss myself laughing.

Hands @Steve_MB a box of Depends (male version). :slightly_smiling_face:

I wonder how concerned FOX News is about their core audience departing for Parler because they actually reported the truth?

Even if that’s not the intent, how long before someone hacks the no doubt badly secured database? Or steals the sheets of paper off the receptionist’s desk?

I’m just wondering what the marketing value of this information is. On the one hand, it is a list of people who are very easy to deceive into believing bullshit. OTOH, I doubt that they have all that much disposable income.

I’m sure Trump et. al. will be fine with whatever amount anyone contributes.

Surely “list of stupid gullible people” is a golden opportunity to make up for low profit margins with volume.

How Rudy’s day in court went.

And I think it’s going to be bad. Trumpers have been threatening revolution for the past 3 years - “if Trump is impeached”, “if Trump loses the election”, “if Trumps isn’t allowed to finish his term”, but now they’ve gone very quiet. If they’re not blustering and threatening aloud, it means they’re doing it quietly among themselves, which means it’s much more likely to happen. Then there are groups like the new “People’s Rights Network” being organized by Ammon Bundy – this is a step up from the local militia groups, potentially connecting them into an effective network. There’s still the reality that these are folks who can’t get along with anyone so they’re likely to fall apart fairly quickly, but they may kill a lot of innocent bystanders before they disintegrate.

As is so often the case, The Onion wasn’t able to foresee the actual extent of the actual comedy:

Liz Joy, a nutcase Republican candidate for Congress in New York who has lost but refuses to concede her race says in a Facebook Post “There is evidence across 29-30 States of massive voter fraud in the Presidential election.” She basically asks people to send her fraud tips at [her email] So, I strongly encourage you to do so. Here was my e-mail to her:

If there is evidence across 29-30 States of massive voter fraud in the Presidential election . . . why do you still need ‘tips’?

Good question, although to be fair, she seemed to be saying (as near as I can interpret it) that she was most interested in voter fraud in here district (which is why I made that caveat at the beginning of my letter about much of this being a little more national in scope).
