The Congressional Ethics Committee has issued a 54 page report detailing the numerous ethics violations of Congressman Alex Mooney, including an entire section on staffers having to take care of his dog.
The report also notes that he doesn’t live in West Virginia, the state he represents.
The Supreme Court just ruled that innocence doesn’t mean you can’t be executed.

Leading to the inexorable march of the poor red states into Shitholes of Theocracy, Ignorance, Poor Health, Intolerance and Hate.
In future, I envision a group of these Shithole States threatening to leave the country, and the rest of the states calling their bluff, and saying “OK, bye, see ya, good luck with that.”
The argument is commonly made that these states are scattered around the nation, not all contiguous with one another, so having them secede to form their own nation will create a jigsaw puzzle.
A possible solution is clear: Simply relocate all these far-flung peoples to be near one another. Probably would involve moving all the non-Southern folks to the South (meaning, South part of the country from Floridland to Texas). Forcibly, if necessary – hey, we have precedent for doing that! (A modern day Trail of Tears anyone?)
Heck, we could simply buy out their properties, even giving them quite generous terms, and pay all their moving expenses for them. Worth it!
ETA: And all the Southern people who don’t want to be part of the New Confederacy should be given good terms to move to the remaining United States of America.
It isn’t a march if they’re already there.

They got into a fierce argument over which one turned on Individual 1 first. It got so bad, Whoopie Goldberg went to commercial and ordered Kellyanne to stop talking.
Or do what the wingnuts in Oregon are currently trying to do: move the borders of the red states to annex the red areas of blue states.
Only when all the “wrong” people have been excluded will they want to leave the country.

India tried to do that, and it didn’t work out very well for the Hindus who left the area that became Pakistan or the Muslims who moved to Pakistan.
