Too on the nose for me to watch anymore.
Oh, the documentary.
I dunno about that.
The average IQ of someone in Idiocracy was probably in the low 80’s. Republicans are actually smarter than that.
At the same time, the people in Idiocracy were self aware enough to know that putting someone smart in charge would be a good thing, a self awareness that the Republicans completely lack.
Excellent point.
I don’t need to watch it - I lived it!

There was a primary election for Greenville County, South Carolina county counsel. The county GQP declared one person the winner. The state GQP said no, this other guy is the winner. The guy who was not the winner claims the election was stolen and may sue.
Apparently, that’s The Thing now.
The bigger the loss, the bigger the conspiracy.
A 10-year-old rape victim in Ohio had to travel to Indiana for medical treatment because she was six weeks and three days pregnant.
That’s the trouble with deciding to jettison ‘getting the most votes’ as the criterion for winning an election, and going instead with ‘GOP establishment decides who has won’-------you get varying levels of the GOP establishment squabbling over Who Gets To Choose the Winner.
Yeah, I’ve said before that the guy in Idiocracy (Dwayne Something; I’m not looking it up now) was actually a pretty good President.
So in that SC county election, who DID actually get more votes?
(oh, and I’ve corrected @Smapti 's post, because I was getting confused about “tape victim” for a bit)
You think that was bad? Here’s highlights from the debate for Wyoming’s Republican candidates for Senate.

I honestly don’t know how Cheney didn’t just throw up her hands and call them all idiots.
Why is Cheney still a republican?
Because she’s a Conservative and has appalling views. That she’s now seen as reasonable is a testament to how far to the Reich the Republican party has moved.
Valedictorian of a HS in Kentucky punks the graduating class with an inspirational quote from iDJiT, which gets enthusiastic applause, followed, by “Just kidding, that was Barak Obama”.
Cheney votes with the Individual 1 side of the party the vast majority of the time.
I wish valedictorian had substantially waited for Trump applause to completely die down, and then punk’em. I’d predict maybe scattered, nervous laughter, if barely that, even.
That was 2019. Still, an excellent prank.
The Republican nominee for Michigan Secretary of State said “demonic possession” is real and transferred via “intimate relationships.”
