NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 2)

As seen in the comments;

Well, we’ve got our marching orders! See Richard Allen Grenell in a swimming pool, or other small body of water, feel free to drop trou and drop a duece!

Unless he smiles, amirite.

Nixon? Really? That’s one of the “greats” the GOP goes to? I’m guessing nobody on their social media team is old enough to have memories from 1974.

And, of course, the truth that today’s Republicans are more than happy to claim Lincoln, but if he showed up today they’d censure him harder than they did Liz Cheney.

I really think their problem was that they needed 8 to complete the square. They were smart enough to not use Hoover. Probably should have used TR, but then who? Nixon is at least recognizable (and somewhat rehabilitated in GOP circles and had some positive accomplishments). That they had to reach for Silent Cal shows the problem. And considering how they really feel about Bush the elder, I’m a little surprised he made the list (but once again, who is recognizable enough that they could have swapped him out?).

’ Lincone is just another CRT believein in SOCIALIST!!!11!!!’

I think we’re over thinking this. It’s all smoke and mirrors to pwn the libs. After all it has about as much factual information as anything they’ve blown out of their asses pieholes lately. I doubt three-quarters of their base would recognize anybody above that bottom row, except Lincoln and Biden, even St. Ronnie.

Confederate Lives Matter

“Waste not, want not,” eh?

After the Biden administration halted the construction of former President Donald Trump’s border wall, hundreds of unused wall panels were left at construction sites.

Now 1,700 unused panels — declared surplus property by the federal government — have been shipped from California to help build Gov. Greg Abbott’s state-funded wall, according to spokespeople for the U.S. Department of Defense and the Texas Facilities Commission.

Luca said the panels are being stored in “a temporary and secured area” in Maverick County under the watch of the Texas National Guard.

With the 1,700 donated panels, the state can erect roughly 1.3 miles of border barrier. Luca said the panels “will be used in the near term” but didn’t say where on the Texas-Mexico border they will be used.

My bold.

Nothing ever has to happen to those panels. They can stay in storage forever. The important thing is that Greg Abbott gets votes because he’s carrying out pretending to carry out trumpy’s mission.

You think you’re joking but Lincoln said “Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if Labor had not first existed. Labor is superior to capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.” which is probably Muslim CRT Communism today.

Hmm . . . ’ Have you seen Linkon eating bacon? Solid proofe he’s a Musselman!’

He was also this.

Pro union, pro minimum wage, he’s basically a communist.

I think we have enemies out there that want to hurt us for their own gain.

But the hate, that comes from our fellow American citizens.

DC is so out of touch with real America, they treat poor MT Wharrgarbl like some kind of crazy person.

warning: infowars clip, so hide your fragile irony meters

Oh thank god, I thought she was starting to infest comic books!

You, and all the other posters above questioning the choice of Repub prezzes in that repulsive post: Note, HuffPost is on the story!

This article is mainly just a compendium of tweets questioning the choice of presidents for that post, along with other snarky posts. Note furthermore, there is criticism from other Republicans too!

That new citadel of censorship-free Truth has already banned its first(?) wanna-be member! Truth Social bans DevinNunesCow. (From this article, it seems like it’s not the same as the similarly-named Twitter account.)

Poor James Garfield gets no respect.

Garfield is most notable for being the President who took way too long to die. His assassination took place on July 2nd, but he lingered on for 79 days before finally closing on the farm. I am not quite sure whether he should get respect or reproof for that.

The name most prominently missing from that list, though, is Hiram, one of only four Rs to serve for two full terms. Perhaps it is because he defeated the Confederate Army, which was kind of an impolite thing to do to decent white folk.

His doctors should get the reproof.

I often wonder how his Presidency would have gone if he hadn’t been shot. Would he be memorable or largely forgotten?
