I wish this kind of stuff would get called out more. It’ll be old news in a few days. I’d love to see every press conference, town hall, interview etc. Basically if there’s a forum for people to ask him questions, I want to hear multiple requests from people for proof that this was the case or for him to admit he lied.
The problem with this is that every time you “fact check” him, it just spreads the lie further.
Well, that’s kind of the point. It’s trivially easy to come up with an answer that is both superficially “nice”, while also containing an undercurrent of “not nice”, and this idiot couldn’t even manage that.
