I laughed out loud when she said that Biden wanted to control people and she wanted freedom. Except of course for pregnant women, trans people, anyone who wants to vote who is not a Republican. I know there’s more, but I found it so hilarious that any Republican could say that with a straight face.
Ooo, eta: Not really pregnant women, but any woman of child bearing age in their opinion. I mean there’s nothing more free than the government tracking someone’s menstrual cycles. Amirite?
They need a rebuttal to the rebuttal of the State of the Union Address.

I find it hilarious that there is a “rebuttal” immediately after the SOtU. Yeah, a semi-intelligent dog could probably figure out many of the points the President is going to include, but you’re still writing a major “rebuttal” days before the thing you’re rebutting actually happens.
i’m still wondering what country ms sanders is living in, although if that is what people truely believe, it explains so very much.

The rebuttal, such as it was this time was basically along the lines of:
SOTU: “We all want to make this country a better place for everyone”
Rebuttal: “Fuck you, no we don’t.”
I have to wonder how many Republican voters watch these SOTU speeches, because the contrast in messaging is so apparent. How can you look at Biden, and then at Huckabee, and then conclude that Biden is the problem here? His tone was just so much more positive, while still pushing the “US Number 1!” message that “patriots” should be loving, and laid down some pretty clear specifics as to what he plans to do, and challenged the Republicans to do that same.
Meanwhile, Huckbee just reiterated all the usual anti-Democratic bullshit, with a complete “Fuck you all!” tone.
On Twitter (yes, I’m still on Twitter) there’s a lot of “I’m not going to watch/didn’t watch it because it’s all lies!” from the right-side of the political divide, and a lot of “Definitely don’t watch it!” from various folk with a vested interest in promoting their particular spin on it without fear of contradiction.
Because people see what they want to see.
