As I noted above, the fact that the leak went to Politico (which the left tends to refer to as “Tiger Beat on the Potomac” when they aren’t in a mood to be downright insulting) points in that direction.
According to a Facebook post I had the misfortune of seeing yesterday, the whole leak was a plot by the Democrats to distract from inflation and Biden’s “failing” government. Guess it’s time for me to dust off the snooze button again.
And maybe the leak was by Putin, to distract from his war crimes in Ukraine.

I was merely thinking that if there was a ruling that immigrant children are not to be afforded an education, that could lead to gradually eliminating various other classes of children from the rolls of academia. Like children of felons, or cannabis users, or atheists. The possibilities are endless.

Ideally they would like to see all public education eliminated. The more people learn they harder it is for the GOP.
If you define “learn” as “fill your head with the bullshit we want in there”, then, no, it would not be a problem for the GQP. Their problem lies in establishing a system that can get that done in a sufficient and consistent enough way for them.
AND, branching out in another direction from that start, gradually eliminating various other rights, privileges, and immunities of other immigrants.
Given that we are all immigrants (except for the casino operators – unless you go back far enough), there is a lot of ground for them to cover.
