I always said, the difference between Democrats and Republicans is “Democrat” is a sneering perjorative while “Republican” is a vicious slur. It is more relevant than ever. The Republicans fuck things up and the Democrats fail to fix the fuckupedness.
I’d rephrase that slightly:
The Republicans fuck things up and the Democrats are prevented by the Republicans from fixing the fuckupedness.
If so, then why the hell did the D supermajority in '09-10 not fix a whole raft of fuckups from the preceding decade? There were not enough Rs to stop them, yet very little was actually fixed.

It does baffle me how so many people on the right have convinced themselves that an atheist, anti-religion, anti-capitalist, anti-imperialism, anti-war foul-mouthed pro-abortion sexual deviant who hated Reagan and both Bushes would TOTALLY love Donald Trump.
If anything, Carlin would have only liked Trump in the same way he liked Clinton, in that unlike most politicians Clinton was willing to ADMIT that he was full of shit.
