Roger “The Penguin” Stone tweeted out a photo ostensibly of the crowd at Loser Donald’s rally.
It was actually a photo of a Rod Stewart concert held in Brazil in 1994.

Hey, if Trump (or a crony) says there are mountains on the New Jersey shore, THEN THERE ARE MOUNTAINS ON THE NEW JERSEY SHORE.
All the times I’ve been to Wildwood, I completely missed the mountains.
How do people even seriously misclaim pictures like that any more? I mean, surely they have to know that it’s now trivially easy to track pictures down. I know, I know, own the libs, but they’re just owning themselves.
That same photo was used to troll Trump in 2018.

Not so much themselves as their drones followers. It’s all aimed at keeping the outrage and enthusiasm at a fever pitch.
When a dumb, stupid person doesn’t believe, for example, that the CDC has good advice for safe practices during a virus outbreak, but that dumb motherfucker does believe that there is a child trafficking ring being run out of the basement of a pizza restaurant, and the former First Lady and Secretary Of State is involved, logic and deliberate thought are not welcome in that lunasphere.
Objection. Assuming facts totally not in evidence.
“But I downloaded it off the internet. How did it get back there?”
I’m going to post this in both the “Stupid” and “Evil” Republican threads.
Former Trump WH Aide Johnny McEntee made a TikTok video bragging about how he gives counterfeit money to homeless people in hopes they’ll get arrested.
The evil part is that he’s doing it. The stupid part is that he’s freely admitted to committing serious crimes on video.
A lot of people are saying that this is just a “skit”; he’s not really doing this, he just posted the video as a “joke” and “rage bait”. Apparently he has a channel dedicated to crap like that.
But here’s the thing: This guy held a lot of important roles in the Trump administration, and has been a “senior advisor” working on that Project 2025 thing.
…and that’s the kind of thing he considers to be a “joke”? A sociopath like this should never be anywhere close to the levers of power in government.
That’s Republican humor, because punching down is easier.
“The best people.”
Is there a picture of the fake money? If I handed out counterfeit money, even as a ‘joke’, I don’t think the secret service would think it’s funny. However, money that’s clearly fake, like religious tracts that look like $20 bills, don’t seem to be a [legal] problem.
But if he’s doing it in with the plan that they’ll attempt to use it and get arrested, I hope they throw the book at him. And, in theory, it’ll peel a few more people away from their side as they see not only what ‘their side’ is doing, but also come to the realization that this arrest is just going to make it that much harder for a homeless person to get back on their feet, for something that wasn’t their fault.
To be clear, I’m not saying that everyone, or even a lot of people, will switch sides, but I like to think every time a someone does this, a few more people realize they aren’t on quite the same page as the person they voted for.
He said it was prop money like they use in films, which looks good from a distance, but is pretty obviously fake when seen up close. You can zoom in on a picture of such things here:
That being said, if you google it, lots of people have been arrested for using such fake bills to buy things. It’s certainly fraud, and at least a few have been charged with counterfeiting.

I think people may be under the mistaken impression that every counterfeit bill presented automatically results in arrest.
That is not true.
It is, in fact, a thing that ordinary people wind up with a fake bill in their wallet. The normal procedure it to inform the customer that we can not accept that bill. This can be upsetting, naturally, but if it is one bill and the customer is able to pay with real money the assumption is that they, too, are a victim and not a perpetrator.
It’s when people get nasty, are repeat bill-passers, or the like that the cops are called. At least where I work.
But if this yahoo is deliberately passing money with malicious intent, even as a “joke”, then absolutely I’d like the book thrown at him.
I wish he’d get arrested for something. He’s a nasty shit. The smile on his face at the end of his video is sickening. He’s also joined Project 2025, so that alone is cause for concern.
I’m guessing that at the very least the Secret Service will be having a conversation with him, even if nothing comes of it.
So, I just got back from the bank after depositing the cash we brought in over the weekend and they found a fake bill. This specific bill (and all the rest) went through my hands at least 5 or 6 times this morning and I didn’t catch it. Yes, it’s clearly fake, but you don’t need to be at a distance to miss it. I missed it because I don’t look that closely at the text on the bills.
When I worked in a casino, the State Police on site always came up if the cage found a fake bill. They’d usually just talk to the person who tried to cash it and then let them go unless it seemed hinky.
