I only know Russell Brand from a handful of movies I’ve seen him in. Don’t know much about him personally but I thought he was funny. He wouldn’t have made me see a movie but he wouldn’t have kept me from seeing one either if it looked interesting or funny. And there are of course a long line of celebrities and actors I previously had respect or at least affection for that have proven themselves to be complete idiots. I put Scott Adams and Dennis Miller at the top of that list for me personally. It’s one of the things I hate most about Trump and his little cult. It just infects EVERYTHING.
It used to be I could put on a TV show or a movie and forget about Trump for a couple of hours. Now I have to be concerned and whether or not I’m indirectly putting money into his pocket by giving it to his supporters.
I think he has a problem with women. The magat’s have no problem with men who treat women badly, so he went there for acceptance. Changing to be a decent man might be too difficult for him.
