NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 3)

Wonder what crimes he’s planning on commiting.

Federal ones.

It never ceases to amaze me how many people in the “party of law and order” want to dismantle federal law enforcement.

This is the one that got me:

Ramaswamy says he can use his deep knowledge to accomplish what Trump couldn’t and his other rivals wouldn’t be able to — laying off 75% of the federal “bureaucracy” in his first term, including 50% in year one.

Holy shit. Shut down the government and probably tank the economy in his very first year? Bold Plan. He’s talking about eliminating about 1.4 million good-paying jobs in one year.

And government jobs tend to be the kind of thing that private jobs rely on the existence of to be able to continue functioning.

“We had to destroy the village government in order to save it us.”

They are stopping us from making buildings that are not up to code. They are making us pay TAXES so we can drive on roads. They make sure the food we eat is safe UNFAIR!

Ramaswamy sounds like a Sov Cit. See how he likes it living on his own with no support.

Don’t worry, he’s rich, so he’ll be okay!

He made his fortune after starting a biotech company, last year founded an asset management firm and is the author of several books, including “Woke, Inc.”

You other losers who didn’t start your own biotech firms are probably fucked, though.

Of course, I’m sure his biotech firm didn’t apply for any patents…

Real “Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?” vibes on this one.

:expressionless: I was hopeful for a moment that they meant that when they were young they thought that Marx wrote Mein Kampf. But no.

No, it was one of the other brothers, I think. Between movie parts.

Probably that Harpo. Quite a way with words, you know.

Honk. Honk.

From your lips to G-d’s ear, Exapno.

Arkansas’ board of education has announced that AP African-American Studies will not be eligible for course credit this school year.

The school year starts Monday and multiple schools have teachers and students signed up for the year.

Worse yet, one of the schools planning to run the class is Central High in Little Rock, but I guess certain Arkansians really don’t want their grandkids learning about what they did when they were teenagers.

It’s paywalled.

No child left behind.

It’s easy to do if you aren’t going anywhere.

So we can soon add Arkansas to Florida on the list of US states which do not grant recognizable diplomas.

Watch it spread. The South shall fail again.

I had the same reaction, but it’s not paywalled. There’s a closable “hey, subscribe now and don’t miss a thing!” box that pops up. Close it, or close the page and return and you can read the story.
