If Trump is behind this, then it won’t be in Rudy’s favour. Trump will take a cut as producer, of course, but then there is the hall rental (even if it is in a Trump property), the staff, the food*, gratuities, parking, flowers and centrepieces, cleaning pre- and post-event, and the bands.

As much as the design of that invite is in the arena of “very shit first year graphic design student’s first project”, there are only 3 typefaces used.
I am a pub right now which has several excellent posters with 3 typefaces. I do, though, agree that the number of fonts used should be kept to a minimum.

I was under the assumption that Trump wouldn’t be there. Not that he wouldn’t show up, but that there was no expectation that he’d be attending in the first place. Granted, I’ve only seen the flyer and haven’t read anything about it, but it doesn’t say Trump will be there, just that he’s inviting you to go.
In fact, that’s why I was saying that Trump is ‘endorsing’ this dinner.
Having said that, it doesn’t make any mention of Rudy being there either.
The invitation posted above clearly refers to a “round table” with Trump and Rudy, and a subsequent dinner with Rudy. Were I to drop a hundred grand on this, and have Trump not be there, I’d be livid.

You’re right. I completely missed those last few lines. I must have assumed those last few lines were just date/time/location info and ignored it.
If Trump isn’t allowed to have contact with co-conspirators, maybe that means Trump shows up for the first 20 minutes, makes a speech and then leaves before Rudy shows up and he’s the one that’s there for the rest of the night. Maybe Trump just sends in something pre-recorded. Or they just ignore the no-contact thing. It’s not like law and order applies to them.
The problem is that he really doesn’t care how you feel.
