IMO, if it’s implemented, it will have little to no effect on either Deere or American farmers. So, mostly bluster from DJT. Shocking, I know.

There’s no proposed tariff, there’s an unhinged rant and a threat. Would the courts even allow a tariff on a single product line from a single manufacturer in premeditated retaliation for a business decision?, does the USMCA allow it?

When push comes to shove, treaties really only apply to the weaker power. Canada and Mexico are so reliant on US trade that we would be very reluctant to burn down USMCA over this one issue.
