Who would she get? Melania is, one assumes, in line to inherit Trump’s money when he kicks. How much can she afford to pay a body double before there’s nothing left?
This purported body double of Melania Trump had me going for a few seconds. It turns out it’s just weird to see her smile. In fact, it’s weird to see either of them with a genuine grin on their faces. Joyless bastards.
I don’t doubt she has some kind of cast-iron prenup in place as a precaution he dies, divorces her, or goes to prison. She’s never struck me as being dumb. Unprincipled, perhaps, but not dumb.
This seems like something republicans would be against, so I’m not sure if I’m misreading it, there’s something going on that I don’t understand or it’s being floated by more moderate republicans that are trying to break away from the MAGA crowd.
I’ll let them have a “Sore Loser” if they also agree to back my “Sore Winner” law: anyone who claims that massive fraud occurred in an election that they actually won is required to retire from that office on the basis that their election was tainted, and a special election must be held to fill the now-vacant office.
John Odum, the husband of the woman that Lewandowski assaulted in Las Vegas is a major campaign donor of Louisiana senator Jeff Landry. He’s totally irate that Landry had hired Lewandowski, the man that assaulted his wife, and he wants his money back.
In response, Landry slung dirt back at Odum, bringing up an old criminal conviction for passing bad checks.
In a surprise twist, Trashelle Odum, the woman that was the victim of Lewandowski’s assault, is siding with Landry against her husband, saying Landry should keep the money, which is half hers.
It could be a moderate breaking away from a MAGA, but it also could be two MAGAs. The “screw the rules you’re not the boss of me” and “campaigning as graft” attitude of the modern GOP makes it more likely that a candidate who loses the primary would decide to keep running as an independent, and so act as a spoiler to the selected GOP candidate.
