I Googled for articles about his tie length. One article I found had pictures of a younger, slimmer Trump, where his ties were worn the proper length. The article said that his weight is the reason for the overlong ties.
One fashion source I talked to said that the worst tie mistake a heavyset man can make is to have a tie that’s too short, “because if you have a big a stomach and the tie ends and it’s sort of laying on top of the stomach, it exaggerates the size of the waist.”
Trump’s tactic of tying his tie too long ensures he’ll never need to worry about it resting on his paunch.

Which, on face value, strikes me as a good question. What’s a good answer?
Concern for the victims, preserving the integrity of investigations, maintaining the independence of the Justice Department, human decency; take your pick.
But aren’t those concerns still valid now?
If we had a real administration, not a criminal regime, then yes, those concerns would be both valid and operative.

Essentially, yes the case was open. Trump closed it.

I would also say that Biden realized the importance of keeping the DoJ independent of political concerns, more important even than releasing information that could harm people he disagreed with.
