Yep. The Reactionary Wacko Traitors have adopted blood libel as their latest attack on the forces of sanity.
The ShamWow guy is running for Congress to fight woke because it’s what Charlie Kirk would have wanted.
Shlomi was working on a skit called “Woke Busters,” a parody on the movie Ghostbusters about people “who destroy the ideology—the false ideology—of wokeism,” when he learned that Kirk had been killed, he says. The video criticizes diversity, equity, and inclusion programs and transgender rights, among other policies. At one point in the skit, Shlomi can be heard singing, “If you see a thong that has a shlong, who can you call? Woke busters.”
“He is a woke buster,” Shlomi says of Kirk. “I felt like I have Charlie Kirk’s spirit in me, in a sense—or near me. It’s drawn me to do this.”
“I guess I’m becoming the woke buster myself,” Shlomi continues.
Shlomi admits that he still has to “work on” the specifics of his platform. The main tenet of his campaign, though, is combating “wokeism” in America, which he claims “is based on misinformation or false ideas in order to control people” and blames for creating “hate and fear” in society. If elected, he wants to tackle the suppression of conservative views that he believes is occurring on some social media platforms. He says he wants “kids to be happy,” and suggests that they learn about LGBTQ+ identities “later.” And he proposes implementing “video monitoring systems in the schools so parents can see what’s going on.”
So “wokeism” means MAGA then.
He really is trying to keep as many foreigners as possible out of the US, isn’t he? Now, I have another reason not to visit.
Trans people live rent-free inside every conservative’s head.
They think a lot about trans people’s genitals.
That is the case in Zimbabwe and South Africa - locals pay much, much less than foreigners. I think the same in Namibia and Mozambique
OTOH, these are poor third world countries, whereas the USA is supposedly the biggest economy in the world, notwithstanding it also having the biggest debt. (Should I have said biglyest?)

Counterpoint; if the White House confirmed her claims, it would be a massive story. As you said, nobody would believe it, but now we’d have the leader of the US claiming that France, Israel, and Canada are involved in assassination of US citizens. It would be a scandal with actual diplomatic consequences rather than the eye roll that has come from his ridiculous ideas about taking over Greenland and Canada.

This goes back to 2021 and was tied into Covid protests in France.
The false claim that Brigitte was a man first went viral in France in 2021, at a moment when distrust of politicians in was at a high, after the gilets jaunes (yellow vests) anti-government protest movement and the Covid pandemic that killed more than 130,000 people in France.
It gets weirder. A “self-taught independent investigative journalist”, whose expertise derives from working for a small company that made essential oils, teamed up with a self-proclaimed “spiritual medium” and they cracked the case.
Owens got into this mess in the beginning of the year, after deciding to take this to her YouTube channel last January. Presumably, she needed something to give her audience, and this story was perfect. It was about powerful foreigners, it had general anti-government sentiments, and embraced transphobia. It was like a batshit bigotry trifecta. And once she decided to make this her meal ticket, it became an obsession, sort of like Alex Jones claiming that Sandy Hook was a hoax.
The dumb idea here is Trump’s use of the “R word” (a slur against developmentally disabled persons) to describe Tim Walz.

Hooray! Is there hope for Indiana?
The Indiana House of Representatives (which has a Republican majority) had voted quite clearly against redistricting in recent weeks. Several of the most prominent Republicans who voted against it have been the victims of “swatting” attacks (which is when someone falsely calls 911 in order to trigger a police response to someone’s home). The House has decided to reconvene on December 1 to reconsider the prospect of redistricting.
So in short, no, there is no hope for Indiana.
