By wanting diversity, recognition of the reality of racism throughout the history of this country, and doing anything at all to counter it, liberals are demanding that white people apologize for being white.
The right wingers know that getting the monetary donations and active voters is greatly helped by telling white voters that they’re victims.

The whole ‘you have to apologize for being white’ has been a RW talking point for years. At least going back to BLM and at least as far back as when I can remember the phrase ‘white fragility’ making the rounds.
It’s just turning non-whites into boogeymen. It’s Tucker Carlson Just Asking Questions. It’s Fox telling you that that the left is making you do something you don’t want to do, but not to worry because the right will fix the problem. Currently the right has ‘fixed’ the problem of all the white people having to apologize for being white. I’m so glad Trump finally removed that albatross. No longer will I have to listen to black and brown people demanding an apology from me.
