You know what else is beautiful? All the crooks got off with little-to-no consequences in the Biden administration, because of concerns about decorum and optics. If the Democrats are willing to just call things as they are, and say “fuck you” to the people destroying the country, I think there’s hope. Talarico has been very vocal in his opposition to Christian Nationalism, and I guess since to many on the right that is the only true religion and everything else is heresy, I guess that’s the equivalent of devil worship. No matter that he is himself a Christian, with a Master of Divinity from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. And his grandfather was a Baptist preacher. If you don’t worship at the altar of white supremacy and Christian domination, accepting Trump as your Lord and Savior, you are an apostate.

I have to wonder how thrilled the Mormon Church (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, of course) may or may not be, at Mike Lee going to that particular place.
