No, most people say, at most, “I’m not ruling it out”, and often “I look forward to serving the people in whatever capacity they choose for me”, or “I intend to make a bigger difference in the world”, or the like that actually implies a run.
I’ll just point out that “I’m not running” and “I’m never running” are two different ideas. The first one, as you rightly point out, is really “I’m not running … (yet).”.
Vance said the latter, not the former.
He also said Trump was America’s Hitler. He is quite capable of say two mutually exclusive things.
He meant it as a compliment.
Idjit trump’s fans certainly took it that way. And as an endorsement, for whatever tivial value a Vance endorsement has.
He’s made the trains run on time. Oh, wait – wrong dictator.
He could paint an entire apartment in one afternoon. Two coats!

Out in West Virginia there’s a bunch of folks been doin’ that sort of thing* for ages in church. Folks called them crazy. Now they vote for that sort of crazy.
I hate this timeline.
- Except the religious type snake handlers usually use rattlers. And the women sit around watching, drinking strychnine.
Wouldn’t be too surprised at a Rubio/Vance GOP ticket, though…
And yet MORE news about the amazing technology that Dear Leader has seen fit to bestow upon his loyal supporters. How thankful they must be to be recipients of his largess!
The Paxton campaign seems to have decided that the winning strategy in Texas is to just yell “faggot” at the top of their lungs over and over.

“The Democrats made history in Texas by nominating their first transgender senate candidate,” White House advisor Stephen Miller quipped about Talarico, who is straight and cis.
On Fox News, host Jesse Watters stressed this week that Talarico isn’t married. Worse yet, while Talarico has a girlfriend, he appears to respect her, calling her his “best friend.” You know what that means….
“Talarico is also 37 and not married,” Watters said, knowing what he was implying. “Why haven’t we ever seen [his girlfriend] before?”
Watters left out the fact that, in that same interview, Talarico stressed that they were in love, gave some concrete details about how they met, and said that he was worried about threats to his girlfriend’s life if her identity were made public.
Fox’s Kennedy, when told Talarico is a seminarian, went vulgar: “He put the semen in seminarian.”
Next up on the agenda; crippling international commerce and tourism to own the libs.
It’s worth noting that the response of the official Democrats X account to Stephen Miller’s gibe was, in toto
Katie Miller then jumped in with faux dudgeon to defend Temu Nosferatu, outing the woman behind the Democrats account and sniping at her for being single and childless. As the women in question is 1) engaged and literally planning her wedding, and 2) considerably more attractive than Katie Miller, the ratios did not go well for the Millers.
Honestly, while I hate that political rhetoric is where it is, the right have been there for decades. It’s about time the Democrats took the gloves off.
But, but, what took her so long? She’s way older than 14, when she should have been married, right?
And being married to Stephen Miller’s nothing to boast about either.
Her response to Katie: “I want Katie Miller to know that her husband is an ugly fuck.”
I just threw up in my mouth a little.
That is so awesome. I think it’s safe to assume she didn’t go rogue, so this will become standard in response to GOP vile bullshit. Good! About time.
“Fuck off, you perverted weirdo. Fantasize about what’s in other people’s pants on your own time.”
She’s also boasting about having had sex with him.
