This is rather like your employer telling you he wants you to have more control over your healthcare, so he’s canceling your medical benefits.
That’s so fucking ridiculous. Right now FEMA supports the states. The state governors run disaster relief in their own states.
So he wants to empower states to have more control by controlling their own funding rather than depending on the feds to give them money.
Well, if all that sweet Federal money is being spent on various states’ disasters, how’s he and his buddies gonna funnel it into their own pockets?
