It’s slowly starting to dawn on me that Trump might not have competent people working for him.
Would it be terrible of me to hope that Mar-a-Lago gets wiped out by a hurricane? An unforeseen hurricane?
What would be perfect is if Trump was there and got wiped out too and didn’t know the hurricane was even coming due to budget cuts to the various agencies that track and report them.
The thing is - we’re not the only ones tracking these storms. There will be at least some advance notice. The quality of the data and the tracking may be reduced, perhaps drastically in some cases, but a total collapse of hurricane forecasting to that extent is completely unrealistic. Rudimentary forecasting was performed even before we had radar, after all.
It was just a fantasy anyway.
A little more likely is he doesn’t believe the information given to him and tries to ride it out. Yes, that makes a decent replacement fantasy.
Yeah, I get that it’s more of a daydream but some of the doom and gloom is a little overdone sometimes.
But if someone predicts a hurricane is approaching Mar-a-Lago, won’t he able to change it’s course using his Magic Sharpie?
This would probably trigger domestic terrorist attacks from MAGA nuts who want revenge against the Democrats who sent the hurricane with their weather control machines.
I’m not even slightly joking. I seriously think that would happen. Maybe just one or two nuts but I almost guarantee someone would try something. Even MTG accused Democrats of weather manipulation. I wouldn’t be surprised if other Republicans would spread those conspiracy theories in the wake of such an incident.

No matter how Trump dies–even if it’s plainly, obviously, 100% natural causes–there will be MAGA conspiracy theories about how he was murdered, and probably acts of “revenge” against those deemed “responsible.”
Sure, but I think that the degree of response will vary depending on the manner of death.
I’m sure it’s been said before, but if Democrats were powerful enough to control the weather, shouldn’t they also be powerful enough to control (and win) elections?
Eh, no shortage of examples of them holding mutually contradictory beliefs at the same time. They just pick whatever is convenient at the moment.
Oh, they try, but the power of the weather is nothing compared to the God-given power of Trump and the righteous MAGA!

What Trump needs to do is nuke the hurricane before it reaches Mar-a-Lago.
